Advanced Defense in Tekken 7

I got lazy and reused every single clip at least once. I haven't found a good comprehensive guide on how to use movement for offense and defense so i tried summarizing the concepts here.

This video is amazing at explaining high-level defense. I've never come across anything as good as this. Thank you so much. If it's okay to request something, then I'd love to see you set up these moves in the lab in T8 and practice fuzzy guarding it like you do in this video. That would be incredible. Anyway, great content! I hope to see more.

This is a great video! I'm going to save this one for reference. It's funny how I know these things but forget to apply them when I get frustrated. I've felt my fundemtals slip over time when it needs to be the opposite. I really enjoyed the tone of voice used and the visual examples it kinda centers me back to remember movement wins! I have been playing Tekken for over 20 years off and on, im preping for tournament play now. sure I play at a high level but at times in certain matches if I'm being outplayed I get frustrated and since my main has no panic moves I try and force my offense instead of trying to create spacing for whiff punishing. So players at all levels take this lesson to heart! And if you find yourself annoyed watching back matches where you dropped fundamentals which cost you the match take a breath and remember everything said in this great video! 👍

A lot of this is I think so much harder to do if you're not controlling some other aspect of the match. Tekken is hard and sometimes you have to forget one thing to learn two others. Focus on the good moments and the rest will come. 😄

Also this was the best explanation of dash blocking I've seen. I thought dash blocking was from approaching 3 or 2. The video example is great.

Great video waiting for prt 2 i can confess that learning korean back dash took me like a 3 years and while playing online matches i need a 30 min warm up to use kbd to whiff and punish correctly but im not that consistant i cant play everyday but movment is like playing a piano u should practice almost everyday or you will loose it especially in tekken
