Dear Lovly English Story's creaters, I was wondering, if you could explain to me why is the last sentence on 7th slide said in present tense however previous sentences are in past tense on the same slide?

Hello! Do you mean the "I don't think I can..." sentence? It's because the reader of the story is reflecting back, but it is still the case (now) that she can't stomach fish and chips, implying that she ate too much on that visit to the seaside. Perhaps to make it more obvious, we could've added "I still don't think I can..." to imply that it is still the case. Hope this helps :)
