Great in depth explanation of advanced Node concepts, loved it! Not the typical tutorial showing how to write endpoints and middleware, or showing more about the Express framework rather than Node itself. Thanks for this!!

In multithread by deafult, isn't libuv with its thread pool responsible for delegating requests to system and doing the multithreading? Not V8, which is a translator basically.

I still don't know why at 2:35:33, the btn.click, before running its own cycle, would directly push the scheduled events to CallStack instead of Tasks queue? There wasn't much of explanation why it happened in such way. Can anyone explain?

I have a question, to my understanding, when you run "node index.js" a process with a single thread is spawned, and when it has to do something, it still uses that same thread? Even though you can have 2 threads running in a process?

So in NodeJs the asynchronous part is handled by libuv by providing event loop but how does this asynchronous code works on browser like in react or vanilla javascript?
@MikeyFlorensia4 жыл бұрын
It also follows the event loop pattern and the event loop is handled by the browser. But the library underneath is different based on the browser, for example Chrome uses libevent to implement the event loop.
@codedamn4 жыл бұрын
Chrome uses something called as libevent, Node uses libuv
