Great class. Nice balance between effort and stretch. Don’t be afraid to lead us through even more strength moves. We can handle it, and the extra effort makes the stretches even sweeter. ❤ 💪🏻 🙏🏻

brilliant as usual-!!!your cues helped with the challenging Visvamitrasana- found my right side easier to get into and panted with the left side 😁 definitely a pose to try more often!!

It was a very fun class, thank you Emma ! The 2nd camel made me a bit dizzy, had to pause the vid, but then it was ok, and I did the "full" visvamitra on both sides (maybe I can do it bc I can do hanuman quite easily ?). But karnapidasana is next to impossible for me, bc my abdomen takes too much space 😣 Hadn't noticed ever that "a pose starts at the feet" , this makes so much sense ! 🙏 Anytime you film from home, I'm expecting Ulu to come and say hello😻

You're welcome, Karine! Yes, I think if you have flexible hamstrings, Visvamitrasana will be much easier. It's a challenging pose for sure. One of my teachers said that "a pose starts at the feet" and it really stuck with me. If the feet are wobbly or not aligned properly, the whole pose will be off! Ulu is a little camera shy ;) but she will make an appearance one of these days!

@@emmapigeonyogaflexible hamstrings indeed, but still dealing with a paiiiiinful yoga butt since 14months (doc prescribed me a PRP injection to heal it). Can't wait to see little Ulu when she wants😎

That was a great class. I agree you are an amazing instructor and hour classes are the most fun when I have enough time. Is there a non Sanskrit name for Visvamitrasana? I don't remember one. Thank you for the practice and your awesome cueing. It makes a huge difference. Hope you feel better. Pollen counts are sky high right now in Texas too. ❤🤧🧘♀

Thank you, Melanie! Visvamitrasana was named after a sage, so it literally translates into "Sage Vistvamitra's Pose" haha.

Ok I showed my class the pose and they named it fallen tulip 🌷 ❤
