Have you thought of using a Rebounder, it is very gentle or as aggressive as you want. Stress is very low on joints qnd great for balance. You can use it indoors or outside.... it pumps your limph and will help with inflammation, especially if you give up or lessen carbs and do a gentle fast like 12 hours. All the best with your health journey.... ever bit of movement is great.

Reject the thoughts of ever getting into a wheelchair. I was due to have a spinal surgery 8 years ago. I got healed by faith and I am pain free, have perfect mobility and no downtime. I called the hospital and cancelled the surgery. 8 years later, they are still waiting for me to come....something that will never happen. You too can be healed and never end up in a wheelchair.

Ok so just an update after faithfully doing this almost every day for several months now; to make it easier, choose a time in your daily routine, for example, right after I get up, my lovely cat gets fed and then I do these joint exercises. I had two operations on my right foot over the past year and went for my 6 month check up and the doctor couldn’t believe how flexible my ankle joints already were! My occasional age-related (65) shoulder and neck pains are not so frequent and lower back pain very rare now. It really really helps! Thank you so much! 🙏

Ba Duan JIn or 8 silk brocades. This routine overlaps between health and martial (martial arts). This circulates the energy through the muscular fascia (where weight training cannot get too) as well as connective tissue. This helps increase bone density, tendon strength and flexibility. It even strengthen the fascia around the entire spine. It is only 8 exercises and is done in 20 to 25 minutes. The energy also settles and balances the energy in all your organs. This martial benefits are that it helps to recover from hard training and minimize injury. But it also increases martial power (power used in self protection) 3 to 5 times. And tendon strength tends to last for years vs muscular strength. This is why it is common to see Okinawan karate masters still training past their 90s and still have plenty of power. The idea is the long game. If you were to combine that with kettlebells (compound movement in fitness) you would have a holistic approach to fitness as one supports the other. Short term benefits in Baduan Jin can be seen in 2 to 3 months. Long-term benefits are seen in 2 to 3 years. "What is Qigong? A step-by-step guide to growing a successful daily practice of Qigong" by Christopher Handbury is a good book to get understanding of qigoing in general and specifically Baduan Jin. The 2 videos you can buy and download to watch on a TV. Qigong Tutorials - The 8 Silk Brocades with Mimi Kuo-Deemer. https:vimeo.com[forward slash]ondemand[forward slash]qigongtutorials8silk One video is a tutorial and covers common mistakes. The other is the entire routine. Each exercise starts off with 6 repetitions. The routine is easy but the devil is in the details. You fine tune as you go. And you can increase the repetitions in time. To get the benefit of this you want to do this 5 times a week....

Look into visualization and Dr. Jow dispenza's work on how mind and emotion affects body. Stress is often a product of mind, and our thoughts can either help our bodies heal (with positive thoughts and feelints) or become worse (in stress/negativr thoughys wnd feelings) our immune system function is amplified by our thoughts. If you imagine yourself healed (have to practise) and if u can feel the emotionsn of that future state, through imagination.. then it will send strong signal to cells to heal in all aspects. Immune system will improve. Look into it, and try it - don't take my word, but it's worked for me

But I do the set of loosening exercises and breathing every morning which roughly takes about 25 - 30 minutes. Shaolin practices came from Bodhidharma, an Indian buddhist who, I’m pretty sure, was a yogi. Thus, there are many many similarities. He founded ch’an (or Zen) in China. He taught the Shaolin monks exercises to strengthen and prepare them for meditation. This is my understanding. Upa yoga has similar movements - see Sadhguru’s videos for example.

Dear Shi Heng Yi, I keep doing this morning routine with you and also do some of your exercises that are on KZbin. I used to do yoga and dancing but I damaged 3 meniscuses and have some serious health issues so I chose carefully all I can do. Every day I have to listen to at least one but usually 2-3 of your messages, mainly from Mulligan Brothers, it became my school of life. It might sound strange, I am 62, lived in different countries - Ukraine, russia, Czech Republic, and now in the US but I take you as my teacher and somewhere deep inside my heart, as my son. Sadly, there is no any understanding between me and my 42 y.o. son. You brought me some light and direction. Thank you for being You. Lots of love and respect from Svitlana.

I'm from Oklahoma and aa kids we did this every mid day in school. As an adult, I've had jobs in the past that would have 10 minutes to do stretch. Movement is important 👌🏾 Thank you! ❤

Trying this for the first time was a beautiful awakening... I jump out of bed to a glass of water and then begin this session. You and your sessions are much needed for so many .. as it is healing and uplifting at the same time. Your 20 minute daily morning routine is exceptional. Out there in the snow, you practice with such ease and peace of mind. I'm so happy and grateful I found you here... Blessings to all.

When I started inhaling exhaling the 2nd time, I started crying. I have a lot of pain in my body since 2012 throughout the years I have seen 9 different chiropractors, massage therapists & done all kinds of other back treatments.. and so much money spent out of pocket and none helped.. I'm gonna start doing these exercises daily and see where it leads me 🙏❤️
