Hello, if you are looking for motion. You would need to have the bodies in different part files and make the motion in an assembly file. Hope this helps. Great video but now how can you make a bill of materials in the drawing? or how would making a drawing from that part work in general? If you have a larger multi body part made with sheet metal, could you make balloons in the drawing that would automatically have a specific number for each body? And I use SolidXperts add on to make Dxfs for every sheet metal, I don't know how to make it work with multi body parts.

The parts, sheet metal or non sheet metal, within a multibody part can be saved as separate part files and brought into an assembly file. You then will be able to use assembly specific tools on them.

@vincentcollin5797 depends on the shape you're modeling. I would use multibody when the exterior geometry is complex, like a car body for example.
