I’m using a Floating 46’ long Gaelforce shooting head. It might not be necessary with a Skagit head, or a single spiral lift may be enough. It would give me the willies doing it with a super heavy Skagit set up.

I'm curious to know what kind of shooting head and sink tip you have on for this. Can you do the double spiral with a skagit setup or is it preferable with Scandi?

I do it with my 11&12 wt. Single-hand saltwater rods .... it just feels a bit heavier because it is a heavier line...🤙😎👍
