You've covered the ways to get back further, now its time for the jump forward tips :) + driver tips for it. Another method for going back similar to lazy susq, is to make the same move then stay on the same side (easier transition then out and back I've found for jumping back on the same side). Yall are inspiring with these vids, creativity is flowing

Thanks Grant - you got it. Yes the drift to the same side is another lazy susky derivative but I love the wave transfer interpretation. Totally right on driver tips - most drivers start that too late. Best, Tim

The Lazy Susky is a fun one. When you nail it - it feels 'groovy' for lack of a better term - just a fluid turn and landing onto the second wave. Enjoy! tim

I have trouble trying to pump on the flatwater after leaving the wave

Two things are likely happening: 1) You're not leaving the wave with enough speed. Make sure you leave aggressively at a 90 degree angle to the boat. 2) You're likely flying too low. The higher you keep yourself up the mast column, the better the glide. We do travel to deliver lessons or you can come visit us in Seattle. Or - we also do video lessons. What style wing are you using here? I’m debating buying a high aspect ratio wing for better pumping. But not sure if it is needed

last question please: what was your boot speed ? When you accelerate, the boot speed coming slower - during a wake transfer - and then faster again ? or did you just pump faster for a short periode of time ? Thanks for helping - Peter.

11.2mph typically. There's no change in speed for wake transfers - speed maintain. Given we're pumping out, the speed of the boat helps line up for the 3rd wave. Sometimes - once we get way back in the wave count (4-8 waves back) we'll have the driver kill the speed, ride the wave back up to the boat, and then start again from wave 1. Super fun.

Will a 40hp outboard engine work?

It should but may require some extra technique on the get up. Recommendation is to go with a small wake foil set up so you get the most out of the wave. That would depend on weight etc - you can email us at [e-mail] Best, Tim

Hi Peter - We did this on a couple different days to I'm not sure - we change our setups all the time to test configurations etc. The best choice is to select your favorite wing for the right move. For example - a HS1550V2 would be a great one for the 1 to 3. The Dervy goes a bit tighter so a MA1225 would be a good choice. 1:1 roundtripper - just whatever you're most comfortable with. On the Lazy Susky - a MA1475, HS1550V2 is a good choice for many. Enjoy Tim

Boat speed is 11.2 we do not vary the speed on these maneuvers. Have fun out there!
