About 30 years ago my brother was diagnosed with ADHD. The doc suggested taking red and blue dyes out of his diet. It amazes you how many foods are colored with dyes. It helped greatly. Too many parents listen to docs wanting to push pills but you trust your doc and thats what they count on.

Constant stimulus of the autonomic nervous system can cause hyperactivity and concentration issues due to the body releasing stress hormones continuously. Think how well you concentrate when you are stressed. If chiropractic care can fix this, then it could fix some people where ADD and ADHD is caused by a disturbance of this system caused by a misalignment, subluxation etc. Stress hormones also affects the body's immune system, so all this actually makes sense. I don't understand why this isn't taken more seriously by the scientific community.
