Another great lesson. Whenever I'm asked if I play lead or rhythm I always answer "Yes, and usually both together, simultaneously and at the same time". The key is to stop thinking of lead & rhythm as two separate entities and just think of it as playing guitar. Nobody asks piano players if they play lead or rhythm. BTW, I loved the bit from about 7:20, very George Benson.

Number 3 is what I need more of. Lead ideas going into the next chord. I don’t use a metronome I know I should but timing ain’t my main problem or concern It’s actual licks.. and not having them sound like I’m jus doin a minor pentatonic scale.. so if u have any videos u can direct me in that shows more of actual licks within that like 12 bar blues I guess u would call it. Like in the key of E goin to the A and then B

Just the video I needed, thank you Adrian. I have never used a metronome before I really like that different noise on the one feature. I will have to go to my local geetar shop this weekend. Cheers from Portland, Maine USA
