@@drewscreations8551lol I went looking and found it before seeing your reply. She really digs in now. I use to have 2 of those and it would have been awesome to have had them perform that great, though I had no complaint with them anyway. I miss those saws. Very cool. 😎👍

@@williamgrissom1995 they’re a great saw! I have a rear handle model I run now that is much better for use on the ground. Same saw but better feel lol.
@williamgrissom19958 ай бұрын
@@drewscreations8551 awesome. I never tried the rear handle version. I generally used my ms261 if I felt I needed a rear handle and a Ms361 with a 25 inch bar with a skip tooth chain for the larger stuff. The MS200T and the Ms361 saws were my favorite goto saws. I did like the ms009. It was slower but with plenty of torque. I gave my brother a ms170 and a farm boss. I think it was the Stihl MS290. Needless to say I am a Stihl fan. Lol

I’m waiting on this g111 Chinese ms 200 clone , I ordered the genuine STIHL carb and the wcs. Muffler plate for the muffler mod I can’t wait to try this along with the timing advance trick 😎

Hi Andrew!!😀😀 Good to see you buddy!!😀😀 Nice job on the saw. The muffler mod really made a big difference in power all by it's self. Now if it was ported it would really scream. Take care my friend!!😀😀

200s don’t really gain much from porting. I’ve done a few and they don’t run much different

How did you unscrew that without something holding the other nut on the other side???

How did you keep the gasket on the muffler while you snugged it up in there?
@drewscreations85515 ай бұрын
@@BogBones slip the muffler in there, run the bolts up through, then carefully slip the gasket on the bolts and then push it all up and make sure it’s lining up, then start the bolts and make sure the gasket is still in place.

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it! Are you having issues getting the boot on the actually cylinder, or is it when you go to put the handle on?

john's custom saws I believe mentioned you lose power when you advance the timing on these.... any thoughts? thanks for sharing
@drewscreations85512 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you necessarily loose power unless you go too far. You can loose some torque by advancing timing because usually timing is associated with RPM. I don’t really port 200s because I feel like there isn’t much there to gain. Joe harkness has a chainsaw dyno and he ported one and machined the chamber and base and when it was done, it showed an 8% gain on the dyno. With most saws you get 10-20% and most of the time more along the lines of 15-20 when done properly. This is all just hypothetical though because there are a million factors that affect all this. Hope this helps
@jbbolts2 жыл бұрын
@@drewscreations8551 definitely agree ...on the million factors point... tinman says the same thing... same numbers will yield very different results from one porter to another not to mention every saw is different also

How much do you file off the key before its too much? I changed the cluch drum over to run a micro p chain on my 200t planning to do timing and exhaust maybe a wee port bothering if i dare ! Thanks for video be curious to know how much to go before i start ! Cheers

What you are advancing here if stock ignition timing in 200t is already on 32 degrees which is max you can advance, good luck with that…
