I like the DRO that measures to 100nm precision! That can't be cheap!

@@ollysworkshop good point. Although the image has a bit of blurriness to the edge so not sure how accurate it gets down at that scale. There might be a focus dial somewhere to tune that, I just don't know all of the controls yet.

Nice explanation. I had an optical comparator for over a year and never used it and it took up valuable space so I sold it.

@@MicksWorkshop I would say for the home workshop they don't make sense. In a professional environment they can be handy. I get to play with it at college so thought it might be fun to share.
