I was browsing for any alternative knitting Entrelac and that's how I found your video. It's very nice and looks a bit challenging. I want to try it for some projects I have in mind. Thank you for this video.

I was today years old when I realized I could just knit in reverse and not turn turn turn. Thank You!

Thank you for this video. I had a pattern for an entrelac blanket and couldn't understand the instructions. This has helped me out so much. Thanks again.

Dear Elizzza, what a wonderful challenge, imagine my relief when the version in English came through this afternoon. I had tried it this morning by the German version but gave up because I had to rely too much on the vision. Thank you for your wonderful videos i love them all. Happy Christmas to you.

I feel so silly! I was trying to make an Entrelac hat and my rhombuses were coming out all wrong. I came back to watch the video, feeling like I just wasn't competent and realize I was trying to add the first step with the tiny triangles onto the step of making the rhombus shapes. Glad I decided to review the video. I'm sure it will turn out much better now.

You video is wonderful. I've knit now 3 hats in Entrelac except I made the ribbing for the hats first & then made my base triangles from the last row of ribbing using color change yarn. It ends up looking nearly the same except I am decreasing rather than increasing. I made the hat on a circular needle & used the traveling loop technique. The hat's I've made are slouchy hats & can be worn as a tam. Everyone I've knit one for has loved the hats. After watching your video I imagined how to do it.

50 shades of brown? hehehe! You are amazing! This is way more than I would even attempt, but I enjoy your videos so much that I just had to watch. Thank you for all your great videos this year. May the new year be bright and prosperous for you and your little kitty, Lucy.

Also, I wonder if starting with a crochet magic loop with picked up stitches, and knitting it in knitting magic loop on long circular needles instead of DPNs would eliminate the hole in the center. What do you (or other knitters) think?
@susanmortara27547 жыл бұрын
Thank you for making these videos. I'm using circular needles and its turning out great. One suggestion though, if you slip the first stitch on the side you are not knitting 2 together, it makes it very easy to pick up the stitches.

Really Great! You do such a good job explaining things that no one ever mentions but are really important. Thanks I'm on my way to my entrelac hat, you make it easy. I'll be looking forward to tomorrow. Susi

Wow! This is fantastic. I have been meaning to try something in entrelac for a while so after I finish with the project I'm currently in the middle of, I may attempt this. If you could give tips on knitting in the reverse direction in another video, that would be very helpful. I attempted it with some plain stockinette but found it very difficult. Thank you! :)

Try Left-Handed Continental Knitting to knit right to left (reverse rows). It works best for me. I'm a right handed English knitter so I don't even have to drop the yarn to switch knitting directions. I tried to find a video on here that shows what I mean, but there isn't one so I might dig out my camera and make a quick clip showing what I do.

will it always be 8 triangles or how can i increase to make it bigger? don't want to make a hat.
@maureenpavlik314412 жыл бұрын
I've recently switched to continental because it's faster but I'm pretty adept at switching back and forth between the two if need be. I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks :)

Hey, Maureen. Do you knit English or Continental Style? There are multiple different ways to knit in reverse and sometimes one will work much better for an individual than another.

Mel Johnston You can pause and slow down the video. You can find a beginner entralac video (which is what I did) and understand the basics at a slower pace. Then come back to this. Hope this helps. 😉
