Advent Tangles 2024 Day 11: Flame Flower

We all do things differently, I think. Because I have a sort of "heavy" hand when it comes to shading, I use my favorite pencil, an "F" hardness because it erases easily. I ended up with 12 petals and 6 big leaves. It still looks okay, not as professional as yours, but . . . again 'passable.' I haven't progressed this far; however, I intend to use watercolors for the flowers and leaves. We shall see what happens. Thank you so much for taking the time to put together these advent calendar patterns for 2024. I really appreciate your teaching style.

I think all the projects turn out so beautifully for all because everyone is different. You have your own style and your own preferences for materials/tools. And as you tangle more, your style will change and grow. You inspire me to keep tangling. Thank you! 💖

I don't have a working cell phone. I wish that I could send you some photos of my work so that I could get some feedback from you about what I might be doing right and what I might be doing wrong. I hope to get it fixed soon.
