Hi Pamela, it does sound like a lot of money and not much crochet content. I thought the pear was cute and the coasters...but some of the other items were out of place. IMO. Thanks for your honest review. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Hello Pamela, and Merry Christmas 🎄I agree, that advent calendar didn't look worth what you paid for it. This was the 1st year I didn't buy any advent calendar, and I'm actually glad about it. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything. Perhaps this is an idea for our birthday challenge next year...a home-made advent calendar exchange 😉

I've never purchased those brands of yarn, but I would agree that seems to be quite a bit expensive for what you received.

The 20g mini skein of wool is nice, but if you don't have more of that type of yarn it's not very practical. If someone Knits socks they could use that one as heels and toes - I still think using it to make bow garland just feels wrong.

Extremely disappointing, especially for the cost. In fact, many crochet advents that I have watched, seem rather lacking. Any way, Merry Christmas to you. Much appreciate your videos and enjoy watching your creations.

I too would be disappointed with the contents. £90 is an awful lot of money. Just think of all the crochet items, yarn, accessories etc you could buy that you know you would use for £90. It is such a shame, and I am sure you will not be the only who bought it feeling disappointed.

All in all, that advent calendar looks to be a very poor show. I would be extremely disappointed to receive those items for the grand total of £90.
