What a beautiful story pastor...I remember the role EWhite played in my father, aunt and grandparents life.. My mother gave me the great controversy book... E.White surely was a very faithful woman ,her books are absolutely amazing.. Yet I must say to have some confusion about her writings at least some simply because heard much controversy among believers : some question it.. Myself of course think often about how mistaken they were about giving date of Jesus coming and to this day trying to understand it.. However would not dissmis her by any means .I live this to our Lord only..Therefore our primary source is the Word of God.🙏🔥🙏

Julia----It 's the devil causing all the controversy. When we read the Bible we do not see the authors, but we see the revelation of God. Example, when we read Genesis trough Deuteronomy , we do not see Moses, we see the word of God. It should be the same for EGW writings. We should not see her, but the testimony. The devil is closing people's eyes to bring the focus on her instead of the testimony. My sister, those in the church who reject her testimony would also reject the prophets in the biblical time. There's only one God and one Spirit. If her writings are inspired by the Holy Spirit, rejecting them is also rejecting the Holy Spirit. What's keeping us from receiving light is the condition of our hearts, just like when Jesus walked the earth and the people did not receive him. The church needs to be very careful.

This is the channel that help me daily growing in God´s grace, the channel where people have been praying for me whenever I ask and where I felt inspired to study theology at Middle East University. So, my new semester starts on monday , I didnt registrate because of money and the administration this time told me that we are prapering a ticket for you to go home. Iam so stressful and so humilated, I no longer have courage to go out beacuse all the student know that this semester Andre is going home , for many times the university just told me no money go home but this time, the university wants to buy a ticket for me to go. my family, freinds and I are so dissapointed.Although the university has done a lot for me, I do not want to have a luxury life being PASTOR just serve God, but semester by semeter I see faint possiblities to reach this goal, because I do not have sponsor...please pray for me I need a miracle. We thanks God for this presentation,personally I am strong believer both of the bible and Sop,Yet I have a question concerning the testament in the doctrinal book which says:They cannot be placed on the same level. " Yes I believe her writings are not above the bible and don't substitute the bible and her role is to lead us back to the bible,but I strongly believe that the same God who spoke to Moses,Elijah,Matthew,John the revelator etc is same the God who through the Holy Spirit who spoke and inspired Ellen.G.White to write the testimonies for God's end time people in fact: ALL THE PROPHETS AND BIBLE WERE A LESSER LIGHT TO JESUS THE GREATER LIGHT,how can they not be on the same level if all are inspired by one God? In what sense are they not all on the same level,is it because the bible is combination of various inspired books consisting of many writers and many minds who are inspired versus sister's White's writings that are just written by one mind and her writings are outside the bible or what ?? In what sense can we really qualify the statement? Some claim we don't have to get hold of her writings because they say her writings are:" A lesser light compared to the bible,so why use her writings if there's already a greater light(bible),Why using a torch to lighten your path during the day,won't people say you are crazy?" This is one of the mostly used expressions or reasons to make of none effect the SOP in our circles this side of the world because there is no really clarity on that statement on our doctrinal book :"They cannot be placed on the same level". PLEASE CLARIFY THIS STATEMENT, THANKS A LOT

There have been several writings by God's prophets throughout Earth's history that were not included in the Bible. But their messages are no less valid to the people of God. All information necessary for salvation is given in the Bible. But God gives us prophets to expand our understanding and make the Word plain. So EGW stated, if you find any inconsistencies between her writings and the Bible, stick with the Bible. I can tell you, i have yet to find one inconsistency. The only reason she refers to her writings as the lesser light is because her writings point to the Bible. Therefore, the different levels mentioned in the video. That's it. Her writings are the Word of God... "thought (and vision) inspired." Just like John on the isle of Patmos.

@@cyprianpeters9110 hie brother they are two laws the moral law and the ceremonial law,, and when reading the Bible we must look at the context when it comes to the law and compare scriptures in order to understand which law is being spoken of.... the ceremonial was written by Moses in the book and put beside the ark thus the law the Bible says it was added, and thus the law is said was against us and nailed to the cross but the moral law the ten commandments where inside the ark written by the finger of God, it abides forever, can you point one law from the ten commandments that can be said is against us?.. Before the moral law written by God it already existed in men in form of conscience see Romans 2,,,,, just read this verses and by prayer study the whole chapters,, colossians 2v14,, Eph2v15, Hebrews 9v10, Deuter 31v26,, Gal 3v19, Hebr 10v1 and whole chapter of Hebrews 9,,if you need clarity let me know by the grace of God will help

Contrary to what the Seventh Day Adventist church teaches, the sabbath was not instituted at creation! In Genesis 2:3 God only blessed and sanctified ONE DAY. The one unique and never to be repeated day that followed His work of creation. God alone rested on that day, He did not tell Adam and Eve to rest, they were less than one day old! God did not rest on the fourteenth day nor the twenty first. There was NO ongoing weekly sabbath established at that time. Nobody prior to Moses observed the sabbath! Nehemiah 9:14 tells us that the sabbath was made known to Israel at Sinai! If, as is taught by the Adventists, the sabbath had been kept since creation it would have been meaningless as a sign of the Mosaic Covenant, which was it's primary purpose. Read and study God's word. Don't blindly accept what the Adventists tell you.
