Considered the Adventure but ordered the Spint X Tour instead. Not getting the headrest as £100 or so. Will put the catseye 450 on the rear and catseye 1100 on the front which I use on my bicycles, the lights being very visible during the day, terrific at night.

I found a used trike Ice adventure , full suspension, disc brakes, v brake handbrake , chain ring bash guard, full mudguards and Rack in good condition and fully serviced, £2000 cheers for the advice Gary.

Yes it’s the 26 with big Apple tyres and they were brilliant

Really interesting, just refurbing an Adventure 2 so very useful. What are the hand grips and how have you configured the cable routing from the bar end shifters.

Bob Oliver hi i never changed the route of the cables the gel grips slipped nice and Bonny over the handle bars once the foam grips were removed and I put new cables in so had to disassemble the levers 👍

The normal routing is under the grip at the front I think. Is this what you have.

YOu got these to slide over the bars and cable outer ok?

Bob Oliver yes there is an elongated slot at the front if you roll down the foam you will see it 👍

Great video, I am looking at purchasing this Trike. Is it necessary to get a rear and front suspension? If I am going to be wearing a helmet, do I really need a neck rest as well? I am registered legally blind and therefore I am not allowed to drive a car. Would I be allowed to take this bike on the road if I was to kit it out with lights etc? Thank you 😊

Stephanie Coyle Hi the suspension on the trikes are just for comfort the neck rest is needed because it’s a recumbent you are reclining back so a neck rest is helpful I would stick to bike lanes till your confident for the roads if you get chance do some research on Trike shops and see if you can test ride one first it will help loads making your mind up. I’m not a professional it’s just my thoughts on this. 👍

How do you find the comfort without suspension? i ask because i am thinking of buying the adventure.

Hiya yes the adventure was spot on the seat is padded and I had big apple tyres on and had no problems if you get chance go for a test drive

As for the Mirror Mounts, you can get them from ICE directly or most any dealer that carries their products www.utahtrikes.com/PROD-11618302.html The Mirrors were harder to track down because I thought they were for Recumbent Trikes but, soon discovered in fact they were for Motorcycles. www.rideitmoto.com/products.php?id=15 As we can see in this video, apparently they will work with the ICE TRIKE Mirror Mount. Shayne, your local ICE shop should have them in stock, if not they can order them. Or, you can go to the ICE website and order them yourself.

Hi the cycle valves were just from old bike inner tubes you do have to check the hole is large enough inside the valve lucky I kept quite a few old ones some fit some didn’t

Hi jimmy I’ve no idea of gears just came as standard but never had any problems I’ve sold it since and it held its price well. 👍

Peter Vick honestly I can’t remember will try and find out I’ve sold the trike but it was whatever ice Trike put on them

@@redwire05 Don't go to any trouble. There is a choice of about 5 different set ups now I think. I'm sure the dealer will put me on to the best for me.
