Interesting country. I lived out at Giles weather station for a year, about 40 years ago. A mate and I did a trip out that way from Giles along the old Gunbarrel hwy to the community of Warburton, so I can relate to it very well. Didn't see much wildlife except for camels and the occasional dingo.

Yes Alan. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to spend that out there. I miss those remote areas.

Been to Lake Handcock when full of water ,the tree's in the middle are under water and the camels where getting stuck in the mud. Came in from the David Carnigie hwy at the end of the airstrip.

Nice work on the video and photography. Do you need a permit to visit the GibsonNature Reserve?

Not to visit the reserve per se, but to enter the Ngaanyatjarra lands a permit is required. It is also considerate to inform any Aboriginal Corporations that may hold native title over the lands.
