Adventure Machines KTM 950 fuel o-ring replacement

How to access and replace the o-rings that seal the fittings to the carb bodies on a KTM 950. These sealing o-rings degrade over time, eventually they will leak fuel into the airbox. This is how to remove the screws retaining the frame that holds the nipples into the carb bodies then replace with new Buna-N o-rings.

Your video came about a month late for me, did this exact job a while back! Ended up stripping one of the screws, Ontop of that I removed the Throttle Position Sensor instead of unplugging it. What a mission it was to reset that!

Perfect timing for me. I was about to replace the rubber boots that hold the carbs onto the cylinder, I'll replace those orings as well.

Will these leaking cause the bike to run bad? My 950 adv started running poorly. It seemed like a fuel issue so I started looking at the carbs and fuel pump and found these to be leaking. I hope it’s what’s causing my bike to run poorly and not a bigger issue.

I've also been trying to find an air leak that only shows up once the bike is warmed up.... any suggestions...

Make sure the enrichment slides seat completely. The cable can get damaged and cause them stay slightly open. Also, how are you determining there is a air leak?

@@AdventureMachines above 4k the throttle hangs open for 3 to 4 seconds. Seems like it only does this after its warmed up.

Z is in winter storage. Up and running for the most part. Chasing a few demons on the tune while running it at 6psi boost. Lots of fun to drive. At 15psi it's going to need more tire!
