I'm addicted to Ocean documentaries and all the Adventure Ocean Quest stuff is amazing. Fred and his amazing freediving style of filming, fearlessness and deep understanding of Whale and Shark behaviour are groundbreaking and breathtaking to watch. The part featuring Dr Hoyas and Guadalupe Island is spectacular, full of new info, and beautifully filmed. Top work folks.

Such magnificence and variety! Bless the people who work together to create protected areas. Hopefully, we will be able to expand these precious spaces, so that future generations can also delight in the Creator's world of wonder! Thank you for this program.

We truly live in a wonderous universe, but thanks to science we have found out that there is NO SUCH THING AS A CREATOR (no matter what silly religion you adhere to). Nature is fascinating and it is our duty to protect nature from human devastation and greed. We are a great species who has even ascended to space, and only we can save nature (no prayers to whatever magical creatures you believe in is going to do that)

No creator whatsoever... everything the study and observation of nature has taught us, is that there is definitely no creator or magic involved at all The glorious creation and evolution of the universe is infinitely more awe inspiring than any silly religion made up by early humans to explain what they didn't understand

Such a beautiful video!! Watching Fred swim with the baby calf was regal, absolutely stunning! The work that goes into free diving must be difficult, not just physical but mental as well. These 3 men are amazing, and I enjoy watching the beautiful footage they are able to capture!! I love watching the videos these men put out. Thank you for all your hard work!!

This is how it should be, if people need to "visit the whales". Get into their world, quiet and non threatening, being still, and with body language communicating with them, by just floating and allowing them to come to YOU. In this way it gives the whale a chance to choose. IF the whale feels non-threatened, then the mother allows her baby to be curious and come close to see us. When she believes enough is enough, she calls the time limit. Then it is up to us humans to honor the limit set by the whales themselves. Awesome moments here, so peaceful to just watch this wonderful encounter. I realize this cuts out almost everyone from doing this activity. I am satisfied with watching this video. I do not have this drive to go and have a personal experience with whales and bother them in their habitat via a noisy boat. IF I could this is how I would choose to attempt an encounter, by entering into their world as a free diver. It is the best most peaceful way, leaving as little a foot print as possible on their environment. Most excellent video. Thanks for sharing!! Just love it! God bless!

Sharks rarely attack people. You’re more likely to die from a plane crash then a shark bite. This is a show so the music and narration is just for dramatic effect.

The irony of something as big and powerful as the great white not consuming prey right in front of them just because they can. Unlike us humans that base our success on the amount of stuff we can.

I love water and the ocean. It’s my element and I am daily in the swimming pool doing my 100 lanes a day. However, I have too much respect for the depths of the oceans and fear that I can get a panic attack (which is the number one cause of death). Any advice from professional divers for me? I really want to do it, however I just have that anxiety to lose my life. I have a very athletic build (see my profile picture) and am very fit (24 years old).
