He isn't neutral, in fact he is good. When Jake was about to wish for something useless like a sandwich, Prismo tried to warn him and lead him into wishing to undo the Lich's wish and save Fin. He even invites Jake over for parties and says that him and Jake are friends.

I mean all the fan favorites and most common characters are morally grey to genuinely fucked. Marceline(the best character) really does harass Finn and Jake a little too heavily in season 1, Ice King/Simon did kidnap princesses even if he was not in control of himself when doing that, PB is literally a dictator who has canonically committed genocide and removed free will from her citizens, Tree Trunks is an old woman sexually harassing a preteen in the early seasons, LSP is the most narcissistic character and might’ve sexually assaulted Finn in the bee episode, Jake’s selfishness and apathy can get to a point where it harms people around him, Flame Princess destroyed a whole kingdom on a rampage, and even Finn manipulates Flame Princess. Lady Rainicorn and BMO are like the two characters that show up every season and have a good argument to be in the good section

I disagree with the idea that Martin is less bad than Betty.most of Betty’s choices were done out of love for Simon and she was driven insane by magic man’s magic. However is Martin is far more despicable, like Fuchs in Barry ( because they are both played by Stephen root) he is the living embodiment of being a mooch , he takes advantage of the people who trusts him in order to steal things from them for petty reasons ( poor BMO), even though we didn’t see what he did he still committed a cosmic crime which is objectively a step up from what Betty did and worst of all , he ripped the arm of his own child’s arm, whilst the former helped him escape from space jail. I know some people are going to say that he had brain damage, but still the fact that he remains a con artist after his accident proves that he is still a bad person at heart .I would personally rank Martin between the king of OOO and jake’s alien dad.Also wtf is tree trunks on the same category as Martin, she literally went to heaven/Elysium + it was the apple that corrupted her and to be fair , blowing up the pirate ship was self defence and what make’s us say that she was a bad pirate (what if she was just seeking the one piece 🤣😖🤥)Bubblegum broke as many laws of moral ,scientific and political ethics as Finn lost/broke swords.

Simon (The Ice King) would definitely be in the middle of good and bad because he was evil to trapped The Princess and make them as his wife including Princess Bubblegum but he can’t help it since The Crown make him insane (is like The Ring from Lord of The Ring, it give awesome ice power but it will drive you mad forever)
