Use Snazaroo or mix Ben Nye grey and white. With both make sure you seal your makeup, but with Ben Nye if you use their sealing powder it makes it more of a grey shade rather than bluish.

Weeeeelllllll, being a Homestuck cosplayer the best way is getting ben nye face paint. It's a cream base so please seal your paint, but get the black and white and mix it together. I'm not big on that most of the time, but Snazaroo works pretty well also. It's a water base, so it's easy for it to come off and put on. When putting on Snazaroo DO NOT SMEAR IT ON. It will look cakey, and not good. Dab it all over your face.

Cosplay tip; Marceline has an axe BASS. I love how you did the strings and everything but you need only four strings instead of six ;P other than that I wouldn't change a thing about your costume! Especially the lisp, it's so cute!!!

Hi Meghan! To stop the makeup from looking green, you should use a green color canceling primer. It will cancel the redness so your skintone doesn't affect the color of the makeup :D

Well I'm no FX makeup artist but I cosplay as Homestuck Trolls (they're all grey) so personally I like to use ben nye cream based makeup... one part white (the white is just called white) and two parts grey. JUST GREY it's called grey! not steel grey just grey! if you use to much steel then you will look blue... I also recommend getting some black (just black) incase you need to make it darker. Also as the top comment says set it with translucent powder ben nye carries that too... good luck!
