These kind of verbal walkthroughs are so important for people like me who mostly have free time only when they're commuting. I can't read through an adventure while I'm driving. But I can listen to someone talk through it for me. I'm definitely going to run this adventure now thanks to this video.

Short sandboxy dungeon with factions and "living" inhabitants on the move without being tough to track I think this could be a really great adventure for first timers, reminds me of what was really awesome about Sunless Citadel I also have a special weakness for magical gemstone eyes of terrible consequence. There's that old AD&D cover art, the Fafhrd and Gray Mouser story, the Skyrim Thieves Guild quest that pays homage to both, it's really evocative

Excellent ideas for running a two faction dungeon. Each primary faction gets a level of the dungeon; the presence of a lore dump npc that is also very dangerous if crossed; a Rakshasa {shapeshifter} working for the spell-casting faction as a spy. One should buy the module in respect, but steal these ideas for one's table.

Love the eyes of the iron golem intrigue - can just see the PCs becoming power brokers if they can get them. The rebellion option too - lots of PC agency. When I started watching this - I thought 'oh no, a dungeon crawl, yawn' - but glad I watched on as the adventure looks really open with shed loads of roleplaying (as well as combat of course).

Good dungeon crawls have that nuance. Bad dungeon crawls are just a series of combat encounters in adjoining rooms

I used to say it "dwer-gar" (like "swear"), until I saw Van Helsing, where they correctly said "DOO-er-gar." Considering I had the Dragon magazine with the pronunciation guide, and used it frequently, I should have known. But grey dwarves works. Or bad dwarves. "Bad dwarves, bad dwarves, what you gonna do..."
