the ones you'll want to look out for are cranidos > rampardos, tyrunt > tyantrum, and amaura >aurorus. I heard that these pokemon are going to be useful against mega rayquaza, especially when you're low on ice types. So definitely look out for those

Field research for this is a bit questionable per LeekDuck: - Catch 10 Rock types for Roggenrola or Dunsparce - Spin 10 stops/gyms for Drilbur or Bunnelby* - Evolve a Pokemon for Lileep, Anorith, or 10 Mega Aerodactyl energy - Hatch an egg for Shieldon, Tirtouga, or Amaura - Explore 2km for Cranidos, Archen, or Tyrunt *Every time I get a Bunnelby from that research I'm going to punch a wall. I fully expect a broken hand by Sunday.

Oh i got that phd pikachu. I live in a small down and i pretty sure im the only one that plays religiously so i get #1 on all 3 showcases more often than not. It helps that my town only has 3 showcase locations 😭🤣 also… i feel like “boosted shiny odds from eggs” is a utter lie, imo from my previous experience

As much as I love Adventure Week as a concept, I’m getting bored with the fossil theme. There’s more to adventure than just dinosaurs. For example we could have a Fishing Adventure, with pokestop showcases for Magikarp, Goldeen, Seaking, Remoraid, Feebas, Relicanth, etc.. Also a good opportunity to introduce Basculegion and school form Wishiwashi. How about a Jungle Adventure starring Tropius, Tangela, Alolan Exeggutor, and a bunch of monkey or ape inspired pokemon. Then a Desert Adventure with Sandigast, Trapinch, Durant, Cacnea, Yamask, Cofagrigus, and Maractus. A Mountain/Forest Adventure with Stantler, Deerling, Dubwool, Gogoat, Teddiursa, Pikipeck, Swellow, and Rookidee. Is it just me or does Adventure Week seem like a great time to introduce new mons and showcase some regionals? Oh, and Safari Zones somewhere other than goddamn Indonesia.

As a free to player having limited passes and down to my last one, I kept iv charts with me and encountered a 2733(likely) rayquaza which turned out to be a 98% 15,15,14 IV (and it was btw I just forgot the IV). Tried to catch it but "Last Ball". I decided to use the master ball (the last one I had) on it and I did. What would you have done? (Only to the f2ps out there). Because paying guests probably did 100 of those raids and most likely got a hundo or shundo. What would you have done in my place? Use it and be out of master ball and probably never see it ever again in your bag or let the best rayquaza you could have as a f2p just run away? Was it the right decision? Just seeking opinions from fellow trainers so I feel justified.

Last years adventure week was the last event I really grinded a lot so its really disappointing to look at this lineup in comparison to the last one. Why couldn’t they just have all the fossils in the wild like last year? I want shiny Archen and Tirtouga but I just don’t feel motivated/feel its worth buying the incubators to try to get the shiny or play the event and thats how all the events have felt for me this year.

Aim for Kanto Vees first! The latter ones are easy and doable. Also, always remember which Eevee are you evolving on that task.

What I did was pick which eevee I wanted to evolve into each evolution (you'll need extra eevee for the kanto evos if you've already done the name trick in the past), then I named each of the chosen eevees 'ET 1', 'ET 2' etc. until I had all 8 evolutions covered.
