After seeing your video we couldn't wait to book a week for a much needed vacation. Imagine our surprise when we found out that they have implemented a width restriction for travel trailers with slides. No wider than 8ft. I'm seeing alot of reviews by some upset people whose reservations were canceled at the last minute by the park.

Hilton Head Harbor is a very nice place to visit. I have also been hearing alot about it since we have visited. I'm surprised to hear about the width restriction. They need to revamp that committee that making all these crazy rules.

We noticed that all the parks in the south are expensive. Stone Mountain was the cheapest we camped at. I can only imagine the prices during peak and holiday season.

Oh my, this is beautiful! We LOVE Hilton Head but have never camped there. We go every year and stay in an ocean-front condo. Hopefully, this will be our first year to camp there since I'll officially retire at the end of May! Thanks for the great video!

Hilton Head is one of our favorite place to visit. I just recently found out that the park we stayed at now only allow Class A owners to stay there. If you have a Class A. This is a beautiful place to visit.

We have a 32' travel trailer with 3 slides, so we won't be able to stay there! Now I'm trying to find somewhere else in that area. I'm sure I'll find something. Thanks for your quick response! We just left the other park on Hilton Head on Saturday (21Mar) -The HH Motorcoach Resort. It is very nice as well with much more mature landscaping but no trailers allowed. I assume you were there before all the virus stuff started, we’re back home in Indy now. We met at Pensacola Beach when you were there. Boiler Up!

I have to go to Hilton Head Island every other month so instead of staying in a hotel or a condo we decided to buy an RV. These sites are individually owned. As is the Motorcoach Resort which only accepts Motorhomes. Those are the only two campgrounds on Hilton Head Island. Even though These are nice I wish we had more options. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. Don't worry about the sirens they go off all the time down there there's a lot of old people.

What a great video, thank you! I have never been to Hilton Head, but this video so made me want to go in the off season. Growing up in Houston makes me not a fan of being anywhere near the coast during hurricane season, lol. I believe I can help identify some of those plants Tallmadge? had trouble with. The first tree had Spanish moss growing in it, it is quite common in oak and cypress trees along the coast lines. I think the bushes that had the pink flowers was a laurel bush or a type of rhododendron, saw some types of palm trees. I hope that helped a bit. Glad to hear y'all left before anything might transpire with the officer. Looking forward to your next video, new places to consider when we can stop working. Be safe, and take care in all your travels!

The resort was very nice and clean. These kind off resorts is our favorite because we feel that we are getting our money worth. Some resorts can be costly and ran down. Not Hilton Head.

Great review. We were wanting to book a trip here but unfortunately they no longer allows fifth wheels or travel trailers over 35' or that have slides. Our new Solitude is 41' with 5 slides so we are not allowed. It sounds like they are trying to turn this parking into a Class A only park based on those requirements.

Yes I heard about HHH new rules. Alot of people was mad because they really wanted to visit this park. I talk to a owner of one of the sites and she told me they are working on changing the rules back to all rv's. Safe travels.

Thank you! I have watched those channels as well. Love KYD when they first stated. Now neither channel really interests me any more. Probably because I never felt what they were doing was actually camping. We started our channel to let people know what really goes on at campgrounds and to show the experience of regular people like themselves experience while traveling. We don't rehearse a thing. What you see is really us. We also like to show the people that we meet when traveI to these places. We don't like to make the video just about us. I really appreciate 🙏 your feedback. FYI this campground no longer takes reservations for travel trailers or fifth wheels. Motor couch only. They abruptly changed there policy and cancelled a lot of reservations short notice.

From my understanding there's a Hilton Head Motorcoach and a Hilton Head Harbor right? We stayed at the Hilton Head Harbor. Alot of people that owned these sites had 5th wheel and travel trailers if I remember correctly.

@@AdventureBandits1 yes that was the case but the new HOA changed their rules. Check out the reviews on google. People are pissed. Only reason I found out was when I went to make a reservation they specifically say no trailers as of Sept 1

I have pulled my RV with my van for three straight years and have not one single problem. I actually prefer to tow with my van but it's my work van and I want to use it just for work.

My wife filmed that part. We packed up and left before the police could catch up to us. I didnt know if they were called about the drone but I wasnt staying around to find out.
