@@ZSmith-yy4lv I was just kidding around as he is way up in the RPMs in almost every shot of that video. But on a serious note, I am quite surprised on Yamahas suggested valve adjustment interval for their US models being every 24k miles. That is a pretty low maintenance engine. I'm a former AMA desert racers (National Hare & Hounds, Scrambles, GP's, etc) and with my last Honda CRF250x I was seriously adjusting valves (primarily intake due to Hondas titanium intake valves) every 2-3 races (approx. 200-300 hard miles), which was ridiculous, until I swapped the intakes for S/S which about tripled that adjustment interval. Yamaha developed a good engine in the Tenere 700 it seems. Cheers!
