So here are some things I found. 1) It breaks your inverter from operating properly. 2) it disables bluetooth pairing if the radio is reset, 3) it refuses to allow you to change the KM/MI settings in the GPS. Reverted back and can't get the current mileage to match the original. Kinda hate this product right about now!

Definitely troublesome. @AdventureDex : Was your engine light actually on (prior to installation) or was this some faulty reading in the JPro? Would drive me bonkers if that was on constantly.

The check engine light was due to an oil pressure sensor. 👍🏼 it was replaced and the light is off

Any issues you’ve noticed with a lagging compass or it taking so long to catch up rendering it irrelevant? Also, have you noticed tpms error until it gets rolling and heated and then registers properly? And lastly, have you noticed the temperature reading for outside temps is way off? Thanks.

Yes, my compass is still off after a few weeks now. This has happened before after changing head units. I just need to find a large parking lot and make several circles. That usually brings it back for me. The compass moves when I travel, just is not synced.

Is there an option for the display to be different with a manual transmission? For example, instead of it showing that you’re in (D) for drive or (P) for park. Can it show what gear you’re in?

Be very careful purchasing. They’ll communicate well pre-purchase, but post purchase they offer zero assistance with the product. It’s glitchy and most functions don’t operate properly. Happy to share photos of the chat with them where they said they “simply gave up” on some features because they couldn’t get them to work - like altimeter.

Go watch the Crawl TV follow up..."worst Jeep accessory ever". It's a piece of junk! $350 paperweight. I uninstalled mine after only 3 months. I could've repackaged it and posted it up for sale & got at least 1/2 my money back but I didn't want to end up screwing over the next person with that trash. Anyone else that has it and says different either doesn't know junk when they see it or refuses to admit that their money went to waste. I could name at least 3 other popular KZbinrs that have installed and initially gave it a thumbs up but have since uninstalled it without doing a follow up, probably hoping nobody noticed. It's a bottom tier single din radio running android with bottom tier specs on a bottom tier LCD screen.

They have a model for older Jeeps. Mine is a 2008 with no steering controls. The one I got just has buttons on the top of the dash unit. They are kinda small, but so far do the job.

carplay wont be able to use. Google Maps will be displayed in the Jpro. On the k1 you are able to use every android navigation app

Thanks for the questions. The customization in terms of colors and stuff is limited. There set "themes". You can use it with manual transmission there is a specific setting for that. I don't believe you can flip the tack and speed. Thanks for watching!

I love the reviews- not just for the J Pro but after seeing this I watched a bunch of other ones you’ve posted and they are on-point. Needless to say- I subscribed. I have a very important question. The Jk I bought already had the Alpine aftermarket head unit installed from the previous owner, but it’s actually one of the first / Older models so it’s small and the buttons take up most of the space and it’s not android compatible. So question is - you say it will sync up (media and navigation) with the new head unit. Do you know when the head unit is coming out ??? And you did a previous video on a head unit install that was huge and looked great. So I’m assuming it doesn’t sync with that at all? I’m hoping if not - that whatever head unit they are putting out is also as large and running Android as well. I don’t want to buy unless I am buying them both as a package (the digital dash AND the new head unit they are dropping) so I actually get full functionality out of it. Thanks for the videos bro. LMK if you have any idea when the head unit is dropping and is their brand going to be the ONLY brand compatible with the digital dash cluster? Edit: they posted to their own Facebook page a video of the K1 screen they are coming out with “soon” (still no date given) and it does look nice in tandem with the JPro digital dash. That would be the way I would go!! Otherwise the media functions and buttons and everything for navigation is useless!! Not compatible with other head units !! Be sure to know this prior that you can’t use those features unless you get THEIR head unit ( the K1 ) which actually looks pretty F-ing nice in it’s own right. Not knocking them. It makes sense, it would be much harder to develop a digital dash to sync and work with ALL headunits.

Chuck's Busy they sent me an update to fix the graphics, does not tell you what gear your in for manual. Elevation was removed when I updated it so.... lol ... you don’t get all the features as an automatic which kind of sucks
