I don't know Dex, never been a fan of the rear tire delete but I can understand the weight saving off-road but at the same time that's the best time to have a spare if something goes wrong. Six of one half dozen of the other I guess.

I totally agree with you that one defines Jeep as a different car that I look at the back I know it's makes little noise, but it looks so busy with the tire at the back like I would never delete the tire at the back on my jeep

it amazes me how there are so many spare tire delete kits out there with license plate mounts, yet so many have no license plate light which is legally required to be on the back of your car

I’d rather have it and not need it vs needing it and not having it. When going off road, one of the most key rules I was instructed on, is bringing proper supplies and equipment. If you get stuck out on a trail somewhere, you can’t relying on a tow or AAA (unless they are also driving a Jeep)

Dex do you need to remove the tag holder every time you need to use the Rotopax?

Yes you do, there is no way it will fit if you don't take out the license tag. I just put mine on over the weekend.

It hurts my soul a little bit that there is no rubber or sofr material between the plate and the paint, i imagine over time it will destroy that paint.
