Why doesn't it sit flush to the tailgate? Seems to have a small gap all the way around the unit when installed.

Make sure that it is not caught up on any of the hardware, and that all of the hardware is fully seated and tightened down.

I bought this in a bit of a rush, and watching how much work it is makes me just want to return it. I like the idea since no bike rack seems to work with a 35 inch tire, even with a relocation bracket. I've tried Bell, Yakima ridgeback, full tilt, some cheap brands, and now the Kuat NV 2.0 and nothing works... seems like it's either getting rid of the spare tire or getting rid of my jeep are the only options.

Forget relocating the license plate. It's fine where it is. Then makes the job about 20 minutes. Well-made product.

Does anyone make a blank plate for the hole left in the factory bumper after I remove the license plate light? I realize I can just leave the light and order another one, but was trying to find a different option. How about an affordable replacement bumper?

That’s alot of work . I just want to take the tire off to save gas mileage for now. The oem carrier looks like crap without a tire.

@@teraflexsuspensions I’m having a hard time removing the camera housing. Removed the screws, and knocked on the actual 3 lugs, they came out attached the the ring looking piece. But the gasket that’s holding the camera housing in place won’t come out.. idk what else to try
