I recently discovered your amazing site. Your Southwest scenic drives are spectacular!!! It takes me back to all of the places I've visited out West. Its my favorite part of America and covers such a large portion of our country. I've visited 48 of the 50 states. Your quality is superb! The only striking difference about your trips is that when I traveled the highways, byways and backroads there was very little traffic, fast food eateries and places to stay overnight. Wow! it was shocking to see so many businesses. The absence of traffic made us feel like we were the only two people on the road. When we visited Monument Valley, we had the Mittens all to ourselves, lol. We were invited to spend the night with the Navajo in a traditional Hogan in Black Mesa. The next day we continued on to Four Corners and stood on 4 states at one time. At the Grand Canyon (South and North Rim) we were the only two people there for a good portion of the day. My last visit to the Canyon to see the Sky Walk was a disappointing experience. There were so many tourist's (not travelers) there that I could hardly see the Canyon. I prefer to view scenic drives without music. I enjoy the sound of the car humming along. It creates a spiritual connection between the armchair traveler, driver and the environment. For your Potash Road Complete Scenic Drives to Moab, Utah /Canyonlands, and Monument Valley Complete Scenic Loop Drive 4k, Navajo Tribal Park, I put on my headphones and listened to 'Pretty Girls' by Little Dragon on repeat for the entire drives. There was no hotel in the Valley when we visited! Things have certainly changed. The choice to add music was serendipitous and couldn't have been more on point for these drives. What an ethereal experience! Your drives will help me recover much quicker from my impending radiation treatments. Thanks for the journeys.

Another well-documented auto trip of the Southwest! Another of my Western "haunts!" Thank you for posting. When I clicked the thumbnail the video defaulted to 480p but the quality was not up to AED standards. Resetting speed playback speed to HD 1080p60, or HD1330p60, changed the quality I had expected. It really upgraded the video and the West for me!!🚖😊

I love driving the open roads. Being from the NY Metropolitan area; we don't have roads like that at all; where you can drive dozens, if not hundreds of miles of wide open space with nothing but hills and mountains in the distance and flat lands all around you. Every so often I make a pilgrimage to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, and to get their I drive from Las Vegas. It's a great trip that takes about three hours or so.

We were getting too many complaints in the comments about the music and how distracting it apparently is for some people, so lately we’ve just been including the noise from the camera which most people seem to prefer for whatever reason. Obviously can’t have it both ways, and more seem to prefer the drives without music. We recommend opening another tab and playing music you enjoy in the background as a workaround, especially since we don’t use copyrighted music anyways. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
