Lovely stretches of a very clean river. Those sea trout often come off as their mouths only harden after they've been a while in the river.... but then they become very wary . So you were there just when conditions were at their best . A great day out and you captured it so well.

What a wonderful stretch of river. I just got back from Scotland fishing the sea lochs. Apart from the regular makies and red cod and numerous juvenile sea trout I had two that were about 2lbs, slender, wild 18 inches long with tails like shovels. They do not want to come in! The juveniles are really fun on the fly, like naughty children, some days they just ignore you, other days won't leave you alone and it's two at a time.
