Nice one! Great that they have re-established the cycle path as it was completely destroyed by tree fall last year. I spent Friday and Saturday pike fishing down on the lake near the top of the hill you filmed yourself cycling up and off the small headland just before the jetty. Unfortunately, I blanked (apart from an eel that engulfed a whole mackerel dead bait and completely destroyed my rig) though. I wanted to fish through the night but just got plagued by eels so brought the rods in. Mission Lake District 20lber continues...
@adventurefishinguk Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching mate! Yeah the cycle path was in good condition, great fun flying down there. Shame you didn’t manage a pike but catching an eel is still a good result! Good luck on your quest for a 20

Hey George. I once lost (to scumbags) a self built 2 wheel drive ebike due to using a cable lock while I popped into a shop for a couple of minutes 😢. Still kicking myself 2 years later. I now use a decent D-lock around the frame to an immovable object, backed up by a heavy chain around the motor-wheels. I agree that where you were you're not likely to have a problem, but I suspect it could be different around where you live. Atb🖖

@@adventurefishinguk If you were in a fairly urban area, I'd suggest that you invest in a gold standard lock from one of the big names, but for more rural environments, some of the folding locks from a well known Chinese site, costing £20 - £30 should do the job. They do have vulnerabilities, but the specific tool to break them isn't something that is carried by your average scrote.
