Gotta love those cutscenes man, I always liked the ones about Kezeroth story, the fights scenes were dope but my pc would never be able to run them smoothly Cutscenes nowadays are just a bunch of PowerPoint presentations about characters spamming walls of text tho...

Everyone is talking about nostalgia, but I think this will be a great revival of the game. After the death of flash player, AE survived outside of browsers. This will open the door to AE games for more people and regain many of the old players! Long un-live Artix Entertainment!

Almost 20 years ago I remember logging into OG Battleon/AQ. It's come so far and that game alongside Dragonfable inspired me to make my own tabletop RPG. My tears of nostalgia and joy won't stop.

Damn. I still remember playing the original Adventure Quest back when the art was super simple and everything was turn based. I remember when they did their first big graphics overhaul and changed the look of most everything and thought it was amazing. And the Sword of Awe! Trying to get all the pieces for that damned thing via random encounters, and then FINALLY getting the final piece was so exciting to my tween self. Very cool to see how far things have come, while still maintaining certain elements of even that original game.

Adventure Quest Worlds was where I made my first character Devil Forger 4 back in 2009, and I would later give the name Davren Helsmere. To say I am hyped for an updated version would be the understatement of the century. Also, the nostalgia of that old trailer callback was way more of a hit than I expected.

Man AQW was the absolute bomb back during the Beta & Alpha days. For whatever reason I found the game so hard to get into after that, perhaps it was the premium currency alongside the monthly subscription fee, alongside them making everything fun agonizingly grindy. When DF and AQW first released in the golden days of flash I don't know how they managed the marketinrg but Artix Entertainment was huge world-wide. Because everyone knew Dragonfable.
