I learnt Unity like a year ago and me seeing this fragment of a game I used to play since 2010 is just stunning and I can see the team was grinding their hours but I must say it looks way too good.

Maybe it would have been easier to build an engine that helps convert things from Flash into Unity or some type of automation there so you guys can cut the manual aspects out. Or if yall could identify what is repeated so you can automate and help the build process. Anyways I'm happy with the progress!!

There are a few questions I have that you probably won't see: 1) How are skill rotations going to work? On the keyboard and mouse, we can press the relevant buttons and time things correctly. This will be much, much more difficult on a smaller screen. Also bad for the neck. 2) The grind. How is all the grinding going to be handled? For example, Legion Revenant from Nulgath is already a *very* tedious grind. And again, that is on a bigger screen which is still more feasible. Are you guys going to update the sheer tediousness of the grind to make it more suitable for mobile gaming? i.e. Mobile gaming tends to feature short, frequent gaming bursts as opposed to MMOs on PC that are more focused on longer gameplay sessions.

I can`t really answer for them but this is what I think: AQW really needed to be made from scratch, flash caught up to its age, so if they are coding everything from scratch and on a new engine, why not release it for mobile as well? I Think the main point isn't to make a mobile game, since your account from AQW is the same as the AQ unity account, therefore isn't a game focused on mobile. To me, AQ unity is a game you play on pc, and sometimes you log in on your phone and think "cool, let me kill some ultras, try to farm a random drop or play through a saga".

Will this be a new start for AQW story or existing accounts will be carried over to mobile/unity version? I would like this game to not turn into grind show and costume fair; crushing new players by the virtue of all the overpowered dudes who will be ruining the experience for those people. Also not to mention all the exclusivity things such as one time storyline, event, shop, etc. privileges. I mean it would be cool if those same people gotta keep like badges or something like that and maybe their existing usernames, but imo it would be much more fun if everyone had a fresh start and got to experience the same conditions

In terms of movement, I wonder if it will be better to have "Hold to Move" as an option. Especially in busier lobbies, I suspect that moving and accidentally targeting monsters will be an issue. Great work though!

Oh man, 4 different characters but I am amazed you are still fighting for a legacy for adobe flash works. Played a bit on the old server and still good but now chunky, maybe in a few months v.004 will be all the combat, art, and music but the loot transactions will either be 1000x too much of 0.000001 too little, even for common loot. Though Steam will give you leeway, EpicGames and others are going to scam you in the most federal-y broken way possible.

Nope, steam allows in-game transactions. It just gets a cut only when your game is gonna be released and when you make your game not free but paid.

since whats being made here is literally an entirely brand new game, just in AQW's image, I wonder to what degree it will, can, or should end up resembling AQW? a new game in a new engine like this being built from the ground up has a lot of potential, and I'd hate to see all this work end up becoming an inferior version of its parent game. I really hope there are plans to innovate and diverge from AQW in terms of both gameplay mechanics and story.

ye are doing a great job would be cool if like with some applications for example when your typing an email the ".com" and "@gmail" are just one button on the keyboard beside the space bar. Would be cool if the spacebar could be a bit smaller and have "/join" "/wave" and others as pre done one button keys.
