I have a James Baroud Evasion with a Rhino Rack platform. Eliminated one of the front to back bars on the Rhino Rack so the JB rails line up to the spacing and used the James Baroud Universal brackets that are like $50 to grab the side to side crossbars. Easy installation, great tent.

Good call on pulling the plug on that tent. I was getting frustrated with you just watching the jury rigging needed for mounting it. You would of definitely been unhappy if you went through with it. If it’s any consolation, your Grenadier still looks awesome with or without the tent.

Agreed. Thanks for watching. They charged me a ridiculous restocking fee, but I'd rather waste a little money once than live with a bad decision for several years.

For what it's worth, you can contact James Baroud directly and they make custom brackets for any platform or crossbar system. They do this for all tents and awnings. Someone from their HQ in Porto will take measurements either off the brands product page or ask for you to measure the dimensions and they will design and machine custom brackets for you. It's usually less than $100 for the work and it's absolutely worth it because it's custom fit for your system. Part of the perks of buying a Baroud.

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, in my case, it's too late for that. I've returned the tent and no longer wish to do business with their distributor. I'm waiting to get confirmation from ARB on their Altitude tent. It's just been recently announced, so they don't have all of their supply channels ready in the USA yet. I'm not in a hurry. Do yourself a huge favor and quit screwing around with these euro off brands. Buy an iKamper mini and don’t look back. With the mini you’ll have space left on your rack so you can mount some of your accessories you’ve bought
