I have been a longtime RAM owner. I bought a 2022 RAM 3500 Limited SRW w/ 8’ bed. I have owned mine for 2 years and have 28,450 mile. I love this truck, and like you, it is a pure pleasure for pulling a heavy 5th Wheel.

I have 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW w/8' bed. 4.1 gear black edition on Pearl white. I come from 2020 F350 Lariat DRW 6.7 which was great truck also. Ram looks better inside but no mega cab on 8ft bed. I love my engine break and being slower, it makes me driver more safer which is another plus.

@@gardnetbush9768 Sorry! I can't share any experience on towing since I do not tow. I purchased DRW for the size, safety, and payload and looks. Once or twice a month, I may carry up to 4k lbs.. And it is not spread out weight but rather on one pallet. As far as carrying, I did carrry up to 5k lbs and it works like a champ.

Big hint for dually pick ups of all brands: do not wear out your tires up front. Every 15-20k miles buy two new tires of the brand you want to own. Put them on the front and rotate the best old ones to the back . At 45-60k you will have matching tires . Saves a ton of wear on front end parts

I’m a new to owning a truck and to be honest was never a Dodge fan let alone their trucks. It was just something about them plus I was always a Chevy guy. Fast forward to more recently and I’m now the owner of a 16’ Ram Laramie Diesel Dually & this truck has turned into my dream truck. I specifically like the rear fenders and how they are molded into the overall design of the bed, to the front grille, to the interior design and layout. Also the fact that the I-6 engine is a BEAST for towing and the design most commonly used in big rigs. ✌🏽

Enjoyed this review. I have a 22 SRW, same otherwise. Question, I’m having a repeat issue with the factory TPMS. Once I set the target pressure to 80 for my trailer, the system defaults to 50 each and every time I turn the truck off. Had it to 2 dealers, and I also did a complete reset and added back the sensors with the same result. I don’t think that’s suppose to roll that way. Filing a claim with Ram to see if the problem can be escalated. Have you experienced that or know of the issue? Any fix??

@@kevinmanning4272 thank you. I haven't heard about the trailer TPMS resetting to 50, but I do recall hearing about folks complaining that it would lose the memory of the 4x paired sensors and need to be repaired. If I recall there was some kind of glitch on a select batch in the 22 model year, but I can't remember now if there was a service bulletin or what the fix was. Either way, it sounds like a difficult problem to diagnose and fix. I think there were some comments about it from other users on the trailer TPMS video I did here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f36UeWCeZ5psh6c

What’s you think in duramax denali 3500hd
@AdventureRocks
@AdventureRocks 7 ай бұрын
I previously had the 2019 3500 Silverado with Duramax which was the 1st year with new engine in old body. It felt faster than the RAM by a good bit unladen. Towing, similar in many ways. It was very aggressive on engine breaking going downhill, but in a good way. Maybe I preferred overall towing experience on RAM just a little better, but GM was very confidence inspiring. I switched back to RAM mainly due to the lack of accompanying features, tech, and infotainment. But, now with GMs 2024 refresh inside, GM kinda takes the edge of the RAM/Cummins platform...much more competitive landscape. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but if I had to decide pre 2024, it'd be RAM 100%. 2024 and forward it's a toss up between them...might lean toward GM now that I've had my 2024 GMC for 6 mo.

Does the truck physically say how much weight it can tow on the door jam? How much can it tow? Whats the payload?

Only payload on RAM trucks on sticker, whereas tow can be looked-up via VIN. It's just north of 5K and 34K respectively. Here's build video for more info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpOXm6KNjtV2orM

Wayy to low on miles to consider buying another truck to be honest. They need to hit at least 100k before maybe considering selling.

I will miss that truck for sure. It had my name on it the whole way through the factory being built.

Great video, beautiful truck. But I like my heavy duties built in the USA not Mexico.
