So sorry there are not more food or accommodation options in Boyle. The town is commercially dead although there’s some people who live there who stupidly believe otherwise, a folly. Sorry you had to go to Carrick on Shannon for basic services.

I think we stopped in Carrick on Shannon because it was on the way to Dublin, we cannot remember about Boyle, but hopefully it will get better there in the future, as we can see in the map that it´s very near Lough Key and we really enjoyed our trip there.
