Adventures In Spokane | SkyRide, Historic Davenport

We visit Spokane, Washington to do the SkyRide over Spokane falls, see a movie, eat at restaurants, and stay in the Historic Davenport Hotel. I have Little Buddy to myself for a week so I thought we do something different and fun.

Making Spokane memories. ❤️ I rode the gondolas, sky ride, when they first came to Spokane for the world's fair. My mom saw Louis Armstrong at the Davenport hotel and got his autograph. Good times 👍

You hit a highlight of Spokane with the Skyride, that is for sure. Myself, I prefer the walk around Riverfront Park and over to the island where you can see a lot more of that crazy river stuff, a whole lot of falls and such. Quite a few cool things to do around town that don't require spending money to do so - most important part, you and Little Buddy doing them together.

I still find it hilarious that you have to catch your chickens with a fishing net! That hotel looked properly fancy, glad you and Little Buddy got to spend some time exploring Spokane and hanging out! I've got fond memories of going on similar one-on-one exploration dates with my mom as well as my step-mom, but never with my dad which I'm kind of sad about. I enjoyed your video. It is great that you could go make memories with your son. I was thinking about what you touched on in a previous video about views to your channel etc. I seems you are a very private person and I understand alot of that could stem from your law enforcement background. That being said there is one thing that has always bothered my husband and I. And that is calling your son "Little Buddy". I understand you didn't want to put his name out there. That is certainly your right. But what was cute when he was little is kind of wierd now. I speak from experience. Our first child, a daughter we nicnamed her "Pookie". Yeah I don't know where that came from. Well pretty soon that is all we ever called her. My Mother said to me one day, You do know if you don't stop she will always be called that! Yikes I didn't realize what we had been doing. I don't know the answer to this but maybe you could make up something? Maybe at least "Bud"? He seems to be out growing "Little Buddy". And not that I would say it here but there was one time when someone close to you used his first name. I don't know how many people caught it but there it is. I say all of this truly with kindness. Just trying to be helpful in something I have really no business in. May God Bless!
