Oh, how I do not miss those north Idaho winters! We moved from Post Falls to Arizona in 2017 to “thaw out” lol. Now we are in SC to find our homestead property. I’m excited to see your films!

We left Nebraska for Tenneessee and love the weather here. It still snows every now and then, but it is gone in a day. The grass is green about 95% of the time.

The heat of AZ is too much and the humidity of SC is too much for me also. I do prefer the longer winter here over the excessive heat and humidity.

@@TheGrassfedHomestead I get it! AZ and SC are certainly extreme differences from each other and North Idaho. We can’t seem to do any life change that’s not extreme! 😂 I actually grew up just a few miles from the Rhodes family in NC so I’m used to the humidity. Sounds like you found your happy place. It is very beautiful where you live and I did enjoy the 6 weeks 🤭of summer there.

Hey Y'all, my Niece did a Cute one for .my Sister. They drew the stalks of a Posie n Green then put His Had on top for a flower. Very inventive,they turned out Beautiful 😍. Thanks for another awesome video Dan! As another transplant from Florida just 7 hours south of Atlanta, we adapted well to the cooler, laid back life in Wyoming or actually Wydaho in Star Valley. As you know we have seen the effects of the drought. We have also experienced the continuous snow ❄️🌨️ from November 3rd to the present. This past summer the Snake River was alarmingly low. To be as positive as possible, I believe we will emerge from this winter soon. Keep up the great videos and tell Little Buddy to keep playing his viola. Ron

Oh friend... Many years here, born and raised, these winters can drag on and on. Thankfully they're not every year, but I'm always surprised when people choose to move here. Especially farmers and homesteaders. It's not for the faint of heart, that is for certain. It was fun to see you pop up in my feed. Glad to see you are well.

They are in the freezer but when I have overwintered sheep, they go in an area that has physical barrier fencing (not electric fencing) and a shelter. I'd bring them hay and have a stock tank heater in their water. That was about it.
