The only reason that I can think of that this game and soundtrack aren't more highly regarded is that it was really late in the Genesis' lifespan (1995). This had NO business being this good coming out of the Genesis! A constantly evolving soundtrack, with some tracks lasting over NINE minutes! I can't tell you how many times I beat this game. Yes, part of it was that it was a solid game, incredible graphics for the Genesis! Just check out the first stage with the psuedo 3D buildings, dollar bills and coins flying around after explosions. A big part of it though, was it just wasn't a game, it was an interactive music video! Or at least that's what it felt like to me. I played it so many times music cues signaled times to move to specific locations or do a specific move! If the tracks reached certain points and I was at a certain point in a level I knew I was 'on time', or running fast or slow based on the beat! Everyone recognizes the brilliance of the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack which it fully deserves, but I think the tracks like Joker theme can stand side by side with Go Straight! The SNES can do gorgeous melodic soundtracks like Donkey Kong that Genesis couldn't touch... but Genesis could do angry, thumping, head bopping, knee tapping beats that SNES could never replicate.

Даа,этот музон из готики превратил атмосферу в психоделику)В детстве обращал внимание лишь на саунд big boss.Теперь с возрастом проникся всеми работами Кюда на Sega (sub terrania,red zone.).Саунд настолько хорош,что даже спустя столько лет,он не звучит устаревшим.Наоборот,среди современного попсового техно,эта музыка проникает в извилины как следует глубоко,выворачивая сознание. Damn, back in 1995, when I was a school student, I played this game almost every day. The music of the game was my favorite. Until now, I still listen to the Original Soundtrack. OMG, I loved every track you've done on this. Adventures of Batman & Robin is one of my favorite game soundtracks and you did them justice with these additions. Fantastic work. Not sure if I like the use of the movie Batman and Robin logo though. That doesn't bring about memories of this game and instead of the movie.

This game was hell. So hard, kicking 😫 my ass for 1 month when i was 12. But hell lot of fun, I abandonned my ps1 for this game. And the soundtrack was so weird but yet immersive. Maybe my best genesis game for me. Thx mate, the soundtrack with a perfect run allows us to reveiw part of our childhood.

22:57 for when you escaped the corporation’s lab at 3:00AM with a sample and a patient, and drive a semi truck on the highway (a la terminator 2) and have to fend off hired goons as they try to climb aboard or try to run you off the road. 26:44 for the montage when you learn how the corporation got its funding for the unethical biological and technology experiments on humans and animal subjects, and you discover that the impact is larger than you excepted. 29:09 for the hired assassin that has you cornered, but presents itself as a good first test and a formidable adversary. 32:45 for the planning and strategizing montage on how to prepare a counter offensive and a whistleblow what you’ve learned from the corporation, and putting into place the elements for initial engagements. 39:09 for a motorcycle cycle chase on a highway, being apprehend by ninjas or mafia goons on motorcycles as well, as you weave in between traffic and eventually chased by a helicopter that has a machine gun aimed at you. 49:46 for the first counter offensive and mid size battle at one of the corporations main labs, crippling their means of production and distribution, and causing disruption in their ranks. 58:30 for when the boss of the corporation has had enough of your antics and releases the cybertronic enhanced menace that is a complete chaos, and goes on a rampage causing tons of destruction while chasing you throughout the downtown district into the warehouses and across multiple highways.

It's definitely one of (if not THE) best games that pushed Genesis capabilities to the maximum at the time....It's a shame Jesper doesn't seem proud enough of this to include in his discography or make some remixes, and wow...I know it's almost impossible, but imagine a remake of this...with more villains and stages...omg...it would be incredible.
