The opening with faithful Penelope silhouetted against the setting sun, between the 2 stone lions, is one of the most beautiful scenes in this masterpiece. Never to be equaled.

I had to look her up. She was in some movies I look forward to watching. "The Witches", and "The Verona Trial" sound very interesting from the filmology.

Too bad this film is never shown on cable , just because its Italian made with voice overs , its still a good film that I saw when I was 16 and bought the DVD 10 years ago . I just wish it was shown here in it whole
