Adventures on Glass Beach: UV Edition

Another lo-fi production by yours truly. Here I outline a new hobby of mine, hunting for mildly radioactive Uranium Glass on a local beach via fat bike.
When I first got my UV flood lamp I scanned my existing collection of glass, out of hundreds of pieces I only had 3 that were actual Uranium Glass. I figured there was more out there so I capitalized on a low tide a few hours after sunset. After zip tying the light to my basket I set out to my favorite glassing spot. It was one of the most unforgettable beach cruises I've done!
This video is a brief outline of my methods. Once again, shot on my Nikon DSLR with the Tamron 18-270 lens and edited in Imovie. Enjoy!

Dude, fun video. Loved all the sound effects and the otter intermission lol. And that light switch cover lol. Nice. Maybe next you should take up scuba diving. Can you imagine diving that area on a calm warm summer day with your light. Bet you'd see some cool stuff.

I build my own UVC device. 20W 254nm lamp and ZWB3 UG5 200*50*2mm SW 254nm UV Bandpass Optical Filter Ultraviolet Filter Glass. I started looking around stony areas. Inspected few stones on close up. Now my eyes are burning. Loos like uv reflection was strong enough to cause damage to the eyes. I will add replay as update if my eyes get better.
