Little trick for lighting your tree. Stand back from tree and squint your eyes at tree. It will automatically tell you where you need lights. Best result for me lighting tree, start at bottom in n out each branch. For a different tree look put 2 or more style of lights. Love your wallpaper in kitchen; if you ever change your Christmas kitchen theme decorate picking up ideas from your wallpaper🎄🎄🎄

Everything looks AMAZING!! I am a fan of the chilly/frosty look of the tree also. Once my son was born and reached about 3 or 4 and had an opinion I did my tree to his liking with all the colors and the collected ornaments he received over the years from family and myself that had meaning to that year. I was fine with it as it really was about him. When he was about 11 he told me I could do my "pretty tree" again. Made me laugh. I surprised him with a nice 4/5 foot skinny tree for his room to have his ornaments and the lights he liked. He was thrilled and we were both happy! Merry Christmas to you two and can't wait to see the garden! I agree with you also that it is NEVER too early if it makes you happy!! Here in America they like to give us flax as they say Thanksgiving has to come first. I disagree and do what I want! Christmas is hard work, $$ and a season I like to enjoy for more than 4 weeks!

Your neighbours must love you when you get your garden decs up. Their own Blackpool illuminations. 😂 I can’t see point in taking decs down on Boxing Day. And all that time and effort you put into your displays both in and out. It makes sense, to have them up for ad long as possible. I’ve still got my tree up from, last year. It hangs on my wall. Cos I’m in a small flat, don’t have much room. I liked the lights so it stayed. I also have a knitted reef on wall, because I decided it was too nice to live in the shed. I’ve got some other bits that I’ll put up towards end of the month.

Hey, top tip, led lights near a wifi router can potentially cause issues when they are on. I know there is not much you can do about it as that’s where your tree goes and where your router is. But just in case you notice any issues
