OMG..THANKS. I am a native Nebraskan from Omaha. You did a super great job of showing off wonderful places in Nebraska. So many people drive across Nebraska on I80 and miss all the state has to offer. Well done, from Ft Robinson to the capital. You certainly highlighted Nebraska at its best. Oh, have not had a Runza in years, they are the best. Well done, 👍🥰😄👍

If you come back to Nebraska in January and February on a Tuesday, you can get a Runza for the cost of whatever the temperature is outside. Meaning if it's 10 degrees it costs 10 cents, and if below zero, FREE RUNZAS! (with purchase of fries and drink). About the only thing to look forward to in Nebraska in the winter

Hey guys😊 first off, let me say thank you for your Channel we truly enjoy all of your videos. So we went tanking yesterday in Mullen, a decision based entirely on this video. Wanted to let you know, not only was it a complete blast, but Chris, the owner remembered you guys and went on and on to say how grateful he was for your KZbin video on his operation. He was such a cool guy, very thankful for our business, and made the comment that he really needs to reach out to you two to say thank you for all the business your video has brought him. I thought you would really enjoy knowing that you have truly made a difference for him. (His words exactly.) ❤🎉 Keep doing what y'all do! You are appreciated for sure. 👍

We moved to Omaha about 3 years ago once my husband got his own truck. He’s OTR so we get exposed to some really beautiful places and some ugly. I will say though, I put my foot down with Nebraska. When we got here everything was so green and beautiful and we just blended in with the people. My son loves nature, so I’m always looking for somewhere to take him. This video is so helpful. Since my paternal grandpa was the only boy with 7 sisters, the Army kept him state-side during WWII (that mattered back then), & Fort Robinson was where he was stationed; he trained dogs to go overseas & fight. He actually lived his entire 95 years in Nebraska. Summer of 1989, after I finished 4th grade, my family took a vacation out to western Nebraska & my dad identified the window of a building that was where Grandpa’s quarters were when he was stationed there.

What a wonderful and fun video. I was born and raised in Nebraska and feel you both did an amazing job of showcasing our state in 5 days. There are many fantastic things that you weren’t able to cover but rank so high on list of things to see and do. Ashfall, in the northern portion of the state, is a most incredible area that paleontologists from around the world come to see. It is a Pompei type setting where ash from a huge volcanic eruption 10 million years ago left incredible 3-D remains of rhinoceros, camels, horses etc. Truly one of a kind site that should not be missed. There is also a section of the Old Lincoln Highway in Elkhorn, just outside Omaha, that is still the original brick used in the first highway that ran across the United States! North Platte is home to the North Platte Canteen station that 2 to 8 thousand WWll troops passed through DAILY and were served meals and support by a town of only 1200 people, EVERY day of the war, open 24/7, free of charge by volunteer residents. Incredible historical story. Zoo is in the top 5 in the entire nation. If you are a visitor to Nebraska try to include these things in your itinerary. You won’t be sorry.

The thing about Runza is that, day to day, there's some variation because they're making the filling using fresh ingredients, and not just opening a can from a supplier. Sometimes the cabbage might be a bit more sulfury or the onions might be a bit more pungent than sweet, but to my taste, they're never less than good enough, and when they're at their best, they're a little piece of heaven.

Well, you certainly opened my mind about Nebraska! This is a great message about the "flyover" states. I LOVED the tanking sequence! That looked so fun! And btw, you got a glimpse of the past with those bugs on your windshield. Back before pesticides decimated our insect populations, getting your windshield covered in dead bugs was a daily thing (unless one lived in a city perhaps). Things really began to change in the late 90s. I can't remember the last time I had to clean bugs off my windshield, including during my travels around different parts of the country.

I just love the Sandhills, and pan handle of Nebraska. Visited many times as my dad grew up near the car henge site. Chimney rock is one end of a chain of raised rocks, making a horseshoe. Someone shot off the top about 18 years ago, it was taller when I was a kid. You can do a wagon train meal there, not daily.

I’ve only ever been to Nebraska once and that was just for a weekend to photograph a wedding. You guys did such an amazing job of showcasing what all Nebraska has to offer! Every state has something unique and special about it…it’s wonderful that you two shine the light on some places that often get overlooked. I really enjoyed this vlog especially since you included a few snippets of your awesome parents! All the food and coffees looked so so delicious! My mouth is watering now! You’re amazing Adam, Katherine, and Kona! ❤😊

Reference the Sandhills, the water table is so high that in low areas lakes and streams form from beneath the ground. These are not "springs", but the ground falls beneathe the level of the underground water from the world famous Oglala Aquifer.

Thank you for showcasing our state. I’m Brandon with Nebraska Storm Spotters and I have been on almost every town chasing storms. Born out in ScottsBluff and moved to central Nebraska where I’m a salesman for our tire shop and when I’m done working and Mother Nature let’s it’s happen I chase Tornadoes 🌪 and most spots you hit for food and entertainment I have been there with my chase team. Glad you enjoyed our communities and the food. RUNZA is my favorite here. Hope you can come back and do more videos. Maybe take you on a storm chase. Thanks again guys! Drive safe to your next adventure.

Great episode. We drive through Nebraska a couple of times a year. The Sandhills region is super underrated. When you were in Mullen Adam was only minutes away from one of America's greatest golf courses, Sand Hills. Next time don't miss Oregon Trail Ruts and Register Cliff just across the Wyoming border in Guernsey, WY. Runza's are . . . um . . . different.

Alpacas are hilarious! I went to an alpaca farm in Coeur d’Alene. The owner told us alpacas don’t like to make eye contact and will spit on you if you do. They also said people shouldn’t get just 1 alpaca because They are very social animals and will become extremely depressed if they don’t have fellow alpacas to give them company. Thought you might appreciate that bit of info. Loved the video as usual!

We are in love with alpacas! Really considering getting some one day! We had heard about having them in pairs, but not the eye contact thing. That's the first time we've been spit on by one in the handful of times we've been around them. Thanks for sharing that!
