Hey guys this episode we are taking care of one of the cab shocks, cab shocks are known for their difficulty due to the tight space and possible rust so i have cut it down to 2 parts next part will come out next week. As far as torque goes guys there is know torque rating but i just checked what the torque was before loosing the bolts and went ahead and torqued it back to that.
Vehicle shown is a 2014 Kenworth T680 Equipped with a Paccar MX-13 Diesel engine and a Eaton ultrashift II 10 speed automated transmission. Also has a Thermoking Tripac APU.
Parts used in this video are a follows

Should have put a block of wood between the cab and frame to hold the cab

I recommend next time using the level valve to raise the cab as high as it will go, then put blocks under the cab to hole it up, and release the air

If anyone does this. I recommend putting anti seize on the bolts. I’m working on mine right now and had to use an air hammer and heat to remove the bottom bolt.

These are such a PITA. I'm about to use a bench grinder to file my new ones down so they fit better.

Was the cab leaning to one side is that how you knew?

No it wasn't usually when you have that lean on the cab end it's usually a leaking cab air bag but in this case we just had an extra bouncy cab going down the road so the new shocks helped stiffen the suspension and made the can less bouncy
