It's Wild Wonderful West Virginia but my family calls it You Can't Get There From Here West Virginia. Going back and watching some older videos. We love to ski. Bill snowboards and I ski. I could never get the snowboard. Bill, just I swear was going down black run our 2nd day, haha We have been doing it for 7 years now and have our own stuff and try to go somewhere every year. We have a 2-week trip planned next year in Steamboat Springs Colorado. We live north of Birmingham Alabama and just drove up to Beech Mountian North Carolina this past year for a few days.

#DollyParton, I so get it! Winter Place looked fabulous! May have to check out snowboarding. I tried cross country Skiing in Vail Colorado, and lets just say, that the Hamlett's definitely left their mark. They gave no instructions, my husband fell and broke a ski immediately, Youngest fell on the ski pole and bent it. I was proud to be the only one that didn't fall. So yeah, we need the best instructors from now on. And can totally relate to you saying, "I worked up an appetite, falling down the mountain" same girl, same 😆 The treehouse cabin is now on my bucket list! And that dinner at 10/10 looked sooo good!

Hi there Matt and Nat. I know this is two years old,, but I had to share something about our recent visit. We were just in Charleston last weekend and stayed at a little Airbnb in a suburb called St. Albans. While chatting with our host, I was talking about you guys and saying I wanted to go to Mea Cuppa and get some chai tea the next morning. Believe it or not, he is also a coffee roaster and went to high shcool with the owner of Mea Cuppa. Crazy huh? Anyway, we had a great time in WV and also checked out the New River Gorge Bridge. It was a beautiful area. We had better weather than you guys, and I suggest going back again when it's warmer :). Thanks for the great video. Enjoy following you guys.

Yea, there are so many times that I wish I could take the drone up but due to FAA or local restrictions I can’t!😭😭 Aww... thanks! It’s definitely going to be a challenge, but we’re excited to try and reach our goal! We are actually part-time travelers. Our 50 states in a year journey will consist of 20 different smaller trips spread out over 12 months.😊
