Hello Danno and everyone, I just got an Amazon package with Reeses Christmas Trees today. We opened one to try them - oh my, the rest went straight to the very back of the cupboard! They might not last until Christmas otherwise. 😊 I really love your American Reeses peanut butter chocolate! Greetings from Germany. Have a great day everyone!

I loved it when I had an Ollie's near me years ago. They always had so many bags of flavored ground coffee that I never found at any other stores. They were always famous brands so I wondered if maybe they were things that were tried and discontinued? I used to make great Christmas baskets for older relatives with all kinds of crackers, snacks, teas and coffee that they talked about for years. When you get older you don't need more stuff and they loved consumables. They were like kids getting excited about new items to try. I loved that something so simple could put a smile on their faces. Thanks for taking us along to Ollie's. I am going to look and see if maybe I can order from them online since they aren't nearby anymore.

Ollies and Bargain Hunts are treasure hunts, sometimes you never hit any real paydirt and sometimes you hit a good vein. There have been no or almost no, (seriously, one or two), cans of any types of potatoes in our Walmart and Kroger for at least two months. Kroger has been out of dried creamer off and on, their brands as well as Coffee Mate. I have not really looked at Walmart. Now, Kroger has raised the price of their Smart Way one to the price of their regular one, and have cut back on the shelf-space allotted to all their creamers, after having gaps for most of the year. I had been looking for deals, (got some Big Coffee Mate at Sam's sometime back), to have with stored coffee. Good hunting.

Danno, you might want to look into *another eyedrop recall from several stores. It is a "voluntary recall" from a manufacturer in India. Just a thought that ran through my small brain ... India provides a vast amount of our pharmaceuticals. Not just the drugs themselves (and by drugs I mean all mefications), but fillers, gelatin capsules and even packaging. *WHAT IF this was intentional? What if it was a way for India to gradually I stop exporting certain (or all) meds and reserve them for its citizens? What a great idea ... another country thinking of its own instead of trying to pay others to like them ( or worse, to keep secrets). Plus, more stores are pulling phenylephrine the shelves. I'm not sure if there is a deadline before it has to be gone. And a quick news video flashed across the screen about another pet food recall. The company name was Midland and one of the food brands was Victor if that helps your search if interested.

while meat is available, I will continue to purchase it. Freezer, pressure can, freeze dry it whatever. Store bought Keystone meats, tuna, salmon etc will continue to be purchased in this house and my twins also. Last count: enough Keystone canned meat-large and small cans- will provide meat at 1 and a half cans per week for 2 yrs. This does not include the pressure canned meat in our pantries. Twice the price next year? Me think it's wise to purchase meat NOW😁 When store bought meat becomes too expensive for this wallet then I'll do the "pass". Have a son and great nephew who hunt deer and the Great nephew has cows with calves on the hoof also. Not too worried about running out of meat in the future. Now speak of 10 yrs from now, who knows?
