Having the extra power of the mini LMT is so nice for jumps. Traxxas really need to rethink their design. Great comparison and video. This really helps us to know what to buy.

I love the Losi. Honestly though, for the money, I think Traxxas came up way short in performance for this to be called a Monster Truck! Not sure what they (Traxxas) were shooting for here. Great comparison though Brent!

that losi is so fast for the size. i love it. i think ill hold off on the traxxas for now. love the body but the truck isnt up to par with the losi.

It's definitely not as good as the Losi it's show no go I have a motor on the way hopefully it helps

Great comparison, thanks for sharing, I got the Losi but would also like to get the Traxxas in the future due to the beautiful/accurate Chevy/Ford bodies. Any idea if the Mini Losi tires are compatible with the Traxxas axles?

Great comparison Brent!👍😊 Losi did a fantastic job scaling down the LMT for the mini LMT…it ticks all the boxes for me! While still tempted by the Traxxas truck, it just doesn’t compare to the Losi in my mind.

One is definitely a crawler with monster truck tyre's that will make a great scale mud rig though a lot of content available from it in the right settings still great comparison Brent take care mate 👊

Traxxas messed up bad with the little motor and bad gearing. Btw i kinda have both also. A son of a digger and a monster trx4m bronco with all the mods except electronics and gearing, converted into a monster truck. The trx4m is more suited for small indoor places, where the lmt shines pretty much everywhere else and in small places. I mean its a no brainer for the $70. Bearings, more powerful, foams in the better tires, hardcase battery, has a rollcage, wheelie bar, cushdrive, better charger,etc. The trx4mt is just a lifted crawler with mt tires and a new body, with different frame rails. Plastic trans gears, diff gears, weak driveshaft. Lmt for the win!!!

The traxxas is for crawling and scale looks. The losi is for bashing. I have a 4 year old and just got the 2 TRX4-mt deal for $300 they are running. This will be a lot of fun for my monster truck loving little guy to drive around with me. If i wanted a small basher from traxxas i'd get the LaTrax, Summit, or 1/16 E-Revo.

I really do think at this point Traxxas is just clowning folks. They're sitting around a table going "watch this, we can make this and they'll still pay top dollar for it". There's no way anyone who's ever driven a hobby grade RC of any type tested that little Traxxas and thought it was ready for market. It should have been released on April 1st. It bounces around like a Walmart RC but goes even slower. I just don't get it at all.
