(Skyrim) First-person games give you a navigational and touring experience, but third-person games do not. Dragon dogma2 is not a game worthy of respect because of this.

I don't agree with this 100% but in a lot experiences, generally first person is better for that approach.

@@theJOSHfeed The first-person view is perceived by you as your own memories. And when you're playing a visually cool game, you get that coolness 100%, whereas that's not the case for third-person.

The reason I say I don't agree 100% is because there are some incredible scenes/vistas in some recent third person games. For example, walking out the back of Stormveil Castle in Elden Ring and looking over Liurnia of the Lakes. An incredible view that will always stick with me. For the most part though, I do agree overall.

Maybe that is for you, for me is not like this. I enjoy top-down, 3rd and 1st person just as much, they're different perspectives but if a camera behind your character and not in front of it stops you from a good experience, then don't play such games. Why would you generally state something that applies only to some people? There are countless 3rd person games out there that are legendary within the gaming world, adored and played by millions. If you don't respect them, that's your deal, not ours. Why are you even here then? Why even watch and comment on a game that is straight on not worthy of your respect?
