INFORMATION ABOUT CIRS:
If you aren’t healing and feeling MUCH better after six months of eating this way, I would encourage you to look into other possible causes.

One way to order the CIRS labwork: www.nutritionwithjudy.com/shopping/lab-work/chronic-inflammatory-response-syndrome-cirs-testing
If you think you have CIRS, but you aren’t able to afford the treatments, eating a carnivore diet while also getting extra sun exposure and eating omega 3s (seafood!) does help some people to feel relief from symptoms. Removing yourself from an environment with mold and avoiding excess environmental and dietary toxins is never a bad idea, but I know it’s not always an easy fix. And if none of that gets your symptoms to go away, PLEASE know that there are ways to make the Shoemaker protocol more doable. THERE IS HOPE, and you don't have to be a millionaire to find healing by using this protocol. ❤

I maintained therapeutic ketosis for 2 years in conjunction with chemotherapy. I used Dr. Boz's ratio with sardine fasts 3 days before and 2 days after each infusion. I have photos of my ketone meter showing as high as 6.9 ketones. My DBR (doctor Boz ratio) was well under 20. I am resolved now of stage 3 metastasized endometrial cancer. I applied Prof Thomas Seyfried's protocol. CT scans now show NED (no evidence of disease) 😊

Hello from Athens, Greece. FRESH Sardines is one of the most abundant and cheap fish on the market from June to September. I eat them charcoal grilled with the bone in. Drizzle some olive oil and a little lemon juice. They are extremely delicious. If you visit Greece , you can find then at fish tavernas (fish restaurants). When I go to fish restaurants they are my go to dish. When I cook them at home I eat around a pound. Delicious. I think tomorrow I will do a three day sardine fast. Thank you for the so much valuable info. I’m also a carnivore.

Recently a very physically challenged lady I met in a nail salon was with a full audience as she talked about her juvenile rheumatoid arthritis related complications and surgeries. She also went into her up coming surgeries that she seemed excited about. . When I shared about Mikaela Peterson and her healing of the same thing through lion diet, she begrudgingly watched the first 5 minutes of Mikaelas Ted Talk that TedX would not publish. In short, the lady did not want to hear of a cure. It made more sense to me when Jesus asked the lame man if he wanted to be healed. In short, most people love their misery and the attention and pity party’s it brings. Some just love drugs and doctor visits. Ozempic for teenagers, wow! When I was in high school Calvin Klein were the trendy status symbol but now it appears to be Ozempic. Sick and wrong!

I have watched eagles released at the Sitka Raptor Center!!! I was 100 lbs overweight back then, and absolutely miserable. Ketovore and O.M.A.D. have released me from that misery. It's taken 26 months. It was easy, and as a 60 yo (f) sugar addict it should not even have been possible. I don't weigh myself, but along the way there seemed to be some months long stalls. I simply applied patience, pressed on, and trusted the process. My meal yesterday was a lb. of fresh Alaska sockeye and I could not be more satiated. If I can do it anyone can :D

I find that the brand of sardines makes a huge difference! Most of the cheap ones are mushy, VERY fishy, and I have to load them up with lemon juice and or mustard to get them down. I decided to splurge and ordered some imported from Portugal, in olive oil, with lemon. They cost a lot more, but they are 3 in a can, firm little fish, and I eat them straight out of the can. No burps, tasty, and I don’t need to add anything. 😊

Thanks for this wonderful interview! I'm on carnivore diet almost 3 years. I did the sardines fast for 3 times, gave a terrible heartburn, but I did anyway but on the third time,on the second day,I was in terrible stomach pain, like cramps, only got better after I threw up. I think it was histamine intolerance, even meat if is cooked for Long time, it gives heartburn, bone broth too. So but the sardines put me on ketosis, after I stopped the sardines,I started tracking my macros, I was eating too much before and gained weight, So now I am on Dr Boz ratio on the 20 and below. I'm eating meat, bacon and eggs three times a day. Also taking a walking daily, I have measured my glucose and ketones before and after a walking and glucose goes down and ketones goes up after the walking. The weight is coming off. Thank you Lord Jesus and thank you you all for sharing this and helping us. ❤

After I stopped the sardines fasting, I went to Maria Ememerick macro calculater and followed those macros, which is 90 gr of protein, 80 gr of fat 1240 calories per day. And I'm fell very satisfied because I'm on ketosis. Too much protein throw us off of ketosis. I was listening Dr Box saying is hard to get to 20 and below on dr Boz ratio, but for me happened, my ketones goes sky high and glucose goes down. Sardines helped me control my appetite. As usual, I learn soooo much from Kelly Hogan just as i did in 2021 before embarking on carnivore on 1/1/22, after NOT finding keto working for me in 2021. Thank you Dr. Boz and Kelly for this valuable video. I watched this earlier, went out for my daily walk in the sun, then changed shoes and went to WalMart where they too (like Costco but minus massive crowds) carry both Wild Planet AND King Oscar tinned sardines in olive oil & tinned mackerel. My last purchased batch I stupidly bought in water, so I was very happy to hear Dr. B's take on olive oil and my entire haul today was in olive oil. NOTE: if all you have available is Whole Foods where you live, they charge much more for Wild Planet as do the small, one-off natural food stores, BUT they're often on sale and if you have Prime, you'll get extra discounts. I can hardly wait to finish all the red meat in my fridge and embark on a 5-7 tin/day of the little fishy critters. I am well stocked with my fave sugar-free mustard, & sugar-free hot sauce. This might be the trick to kick me out of my carnivore months' long stall. Year one I effortlessly shed weight & inches & my eyes even got better (a 4-year saga I won't go into here) but this past year and a half I gained back some weight AND am essentially in a stall. Thank you again.

I tried keto for about 5 months and went from 221 lbs too to 169 trying to get to 160 and balance between 160 and 169. I did not quite get there. Now I am focussed on carniivore because meat is more dense with nutrients and the body needs nutrients. Yes it is also keto but more nutrient dense.

virtually no adults can survive on such a small amount of calories. I have read and heard that 100/C daily is enough for a 10 yr old, and even then it may not be enough. If you're an adult you need more. But right now you're starving yourself. Your body is holding on for dear life!!

What a terrific interview! I started following Dr Boz when she lived in SD and have been a fan of hers since. (And the fact that she has a Jayhawk son is pretty cool, too, says this native Kansan). I love how she described pleurisy and velcro and gumminess, and then using that same analogy for how inflammation occurs or looks like elsewhere in the body - absolutely stellar and understandable! This talk certainly made me understand the benefits of a sardine fast even beyond "feeling awesome!" You knocked it out of the park with this one, Kelly!

Thank you, Kelly for taking the time to make this video about sardines! With the recent surge of people doing sardines for days on end, I was more often than not, fast forwarding past those stories and posts because for whatever reason, I just can’t stand sardines. After hearing this video, though, I may try them again. I definitely want the benefits that you and Dr. Boz talk about and I just have to get out of my own way! The presentation of the facts in this video and the amazing eagles in Alaska are wonderful.

I thought I was fine with stevia until I gained 10 pounds. I just got to two years of carnivore. I am thrilled about the two years, but.. Today, I bought sardines and had my first can of King Oscar. They were great, although I was really hungry. Your video came at the perfect time this morning. It was super informative. I eat beef burger eggs, roasts, chicken and pork, plus lots of stevia, until a few days ago. Well, hopefully, the sardines and no stevia kicks this weight stall, or should I say weight gain. Love the carnivore life. Stevia seems to be very addictive. I am done with it. Never again to make my drinks sweet. I love a challenge. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE PERFECT VIDEO. I really needed this.

@@melissahood2960 best thing I have done is letting go of stevia. I would want liquids just to get the sweet taste. Its day twelve for me not using stevia. Yes its hard. But now coffee butter is fine without stevia. I am just drinking sparkling water. Stevia was just making me want more stevia.

My 'reward' for losing and maintaining both weight and energy is being able to have mangoes. The mango has to be in the morning though only after the proteins. Supposedly, they only have a glycemic index around 50. This seems to be working fine for me. Cake, cookies and the like are way too sweet for me now and there is zero temptation for such. Thanks for the excellent idea of putting other oils in the sardines. I have added bacon fat or butter, both of which also work great. King Oscar skin on sardines are the best! Hot sauce idea is good too. I greatly appreciate your work!
